@epiphannyy@HistoryInPics There's tons of these out there, like https://t.co/yKwAr91R5h (it's cool how many people just gawk at the camera; most had probably never seen one before). They use some fancy math, and some AI-powered "supersampling" techniques to sharpen it up... (1/2)
Kendrick Lamar headlined Day N Vegas 2021 last night with a special "From Section.80 to DAMN." setlist! Here are some pictures from it and the setlist of 27 tracks. He ended off his performance with “See y’all next time Vegas, and by next time, I mean real soon."
I often get addicted to experiences and feelings. It’s why I love to see the same people and do the same things. Routine. So kept by the promise that a feeling or an experience is constant when I come back to that person. Failing to realize people are changing even when I’m not.
Rather than the happiness they expressed throughout their life. There’s absolutely a generational angle to this. I feel like we still have the purpose of life all messed up.... at least they were A+ students I guess....🤷♀️😕
This is a very non-pressing thought. But just noticing that all the grieving parents really push that their child was an A student. Does it change anything that they had good grades? What if they were college dropouts does it change the grief or disparity of the situation at hand
What do we chose to focus on about the people we love when they die? Maybe the projection of our own expectations, or who we wanted them to be. It’s just so strange to hear so much talk about the validity of their goodness as if it’s important to judge their character after death
