The senior police officer who Ordered Albert Ojwang arrest and transported from Migori to Nairobi central Station should be in jail by now.He must tell Kenyans what is so special in Nairobi’s Cells that is not in Migori. Police must operate within the law.

26. (1) Every person has the right to life.
(2) The life of a person begins at conception.
(3) A person shall not be deprived of life intentionally, except to the extent authorised by this Constitution or other written law.
This is the CONSTITUTION of the Republic of Kenya. Part IV on the Bill of Rights, to be precise.
I had the special privilege and honour of co-chairing the Parliamentary Committee that shepherded our country towards this most progressive Supreme Law, and I feel duty-bound to maintain unflinching fidelity to it’s letter and spirit.
Life is sacrosanct. Indeed the sanctity of the life of every single citizen, its protection and sustenance, is the very essence of statehood. We must NEVER EVER normalise killings of any form or complexion.
Albert Ojwang did not deserve to die. Simple as that. He and others similarly violated deserve justice. Swift JUSTICE. It’s the very least they deserve as citizens of a country governed by the RULE OF LAW, and not the Rule of Man/Jungle. The least we owe them. If anyone imagines otherwise, then certainly we exist in different planes!

For Eighteen years, Corporal Jonah Kemboi Rotich has been more than just a trusted security aide to me. He has been a cherished brother and a true friend. FAMILY in every sense. Professional yet humane, humble yet firm, loyal and honest beyond a morsel of doubt, he has been an ever presence around me in all situations. We have worked. We have travelled the world. We have dreamt. We have raised our children. We have built one large family. And worshipped our one true God, I as a committed Catholic, him a dedicated Seventh Day Adventist.
My family and I have felt safe with Rotich. And that counts for a lot in a society that is obsessed with elevating parochial tribal sectionalism above the purity of human connection. Indeed Rotich has felt as much at home among the Mulembe Nation of Ingo/Western as I have felt among his Kitwek backyard of Cherangany and Eldoret. A living testimony of how to forge a unified nation beyond myopic profiling and puerile ethnic jingoism.
Rotich has rested after a battle with multiple health challenges, a battle he has borne with admirable courage and stoicism. We are devastated by this painful loss, and commit his soul to the Good Lord as we pray that his family finds comfort in the bossom of Christ. We will lay him to rest at his Eldoret home on 3rd June, 2025.
Eternal rest grant unto brother Jonah Kemboi Rotich, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. AMEN.

Stop sending goons to attack me, my family, and supporters. We have rights and freedoms to enjoy like other Kenyans.
Like a gentleman, just accept that you lost the trust and support of the people and move on.
In November last year, you sent goons under police escort to attack me and mourners at a funeral in Limuru. You sent the leader of an organized criminal gang whom you have engaged in the mountain to support you; they attacked my wife and Christians during a prayer meeting in Nyeri thus discrediting the Alter of God in the process.
Also, in December, the same tear, you sent police to throw teargas canister at me and wananchi during a prayer meeting in Nyandarua County.
In January this year, you sent goons under police Escort to evict my children from an office they had leased and operated in for five years.
In April, in a similar function, like in 2007, when you sent goons to kill children in Kiambaa church, you sent goons under police Escort to attack me and Christians inside PCEA church.
Today, once again, you sent goons to attack me and members of the DCP at the party headquarters.
Police are complaining that you have stopped them from arresting and prosecuting the culprits in all these incidences.
Why don't you simply accept that you have lost my support and that of my followers and look for support elsewhere.
Doesn't it bother your conscience that you have resulted in using criminal gangs and goons to intimidate and attack those who no longer support you?
