AI is moving at an unbelievable pace, and honestly, I believe we’re still only at AI 1.0, it’s still a baby.

With fierce competition in the field, companies are leapfrogging each other almost monthly. What feels cutting edge today can be surpassed tomorrow. We’ve seen it with Nano Banana Pro, now ChatGPT Image 2.0, and several powerful new models about to drop.

Even models like Seedance 2.0, despite some limitations and censorship constraints, are incredibly impressive, and Seedance 2.5 and 3.0 are already on the horizon. Nobody is slowing down. Innovation is accelerating.

And don’t overlook the open-source community, tools like ComfyUI and FaceFusion are pushing boundaries in their own way too.

At Digital Art Video, we’ve been working with AI for film for the past two years, exploring hybrid workflows that combine real actor performances with AI-generated environments, sometimes even using actors to drive motion and performance. We’re already rendering UHD/4K results and seeing workflows that felt impossible not long ago become practical today.

This is what excites me most, AI is not replacing filmmaking, it’s expanding the language of filmmaking.

2026 is going to be lit. We’re living in a wild time.

Yes, agree 100% and a lot of critics don’t realize that AI-generated images and video are still in their early stages. We’re already seeing how fast the technology is improving. Very soon, we’ll have far more realistic results and much greater artistic control, down to fine-tuning even the smallest details, like individual strands of hair.

This is disappointing. But the truth is, we agree with Trump on 80 to 90% of what he says and the policies he supports. I can’t just turn around and work with people whose values go against ours simply because we disagree with him on 5%. No one agrees 100% of the time—we all have different perspectives, and that’s normal.

We have been using MidJourney for over a year to create digital effects and background footage, seamlessly combining them with real footage of actors shot on green screen. We’ve also utilized images from MidJourney and other platforms to generate videos from stills.
Our latest film, "A Little Woman", is scheduled for a private screening on July 20, 2025. We’re burning the midnight oil to complete the film. With the new video model, we’re revisiting and re-rendering some of the video clips.
