Thanks @Recordnet@byhannahworkman for spreading the word about the rapid expansion of Delta’s nursing program! It’s an honor to train 150 new nurses each year to care for family members, friends, and neighbors all over the community. 🩺🏥 https://t.co/yVpXlZvdyi #SJDeltaCollege

Like many of you, I am heartbroken by the news this weekend. An 11-year-old young girl from our community passed away in a tragic car accident Sunday morning. Please consider donating to her family's GoFundMe to assist with the funeral expenses of honoring Queen Norwood.
He spoke of the crucial importance of voting this November, and I agree wholeheartedly. So many important things are on the ballot, from locally to federally, and we must stay informed to make informed decisions at the ballot box.
I had a wonderful time at Congressman Josh Harder's Annual Family BBQ. I also want to recognize the great honor of hearing the US House of Representatives Minority Leader, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, speak about promoting Democrats nationwide and in Stockton.

Last Friday, I was honored to witness the grand opening of Visionary Home Builder's Grand View Village. This affordable housing project brings 75 new housing units to our downtown Stockton community.
I am deeply grateful for Visionary Home Builder's work, especially CEO Carol Ornelas's tireless efforts. Her work and her team have brought many housing projects to Stockton and made them a reality, and we are all the better for it.
We must protect the integrity of community events from partisan agendas or political motives and keep Stockton united no matter how this election goes.

I am deeply disappointed by the city-funded political event hosted by Councilmember Padilla instead of properly using city resources to bring the community together. I recognize the importance of reaching out to as many potential voters as possible.
Unfortunately, this event further sows mistrust in our city, our system, and our community. I sincerely hope we can swiftly address these issues on the City Council. I invite the proper enforcement officials to investigate to prevent further misuse of city funds.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Housing Authority, STAND, County Mental Health, Enterprise, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and many more organizations and leaders. Your contributions have been invaluable in making this vision a reality.
Yesterday was a day of celebration as we gathered to mark the historic opening of Town Center Studios. This ribbon-cutting ceremony is not just a formality but a powerful symbol of hope and progress for Stockton.
As your Vice Mayor, I take pride in Stockton's dedication to enhancing housing accessibility and choices, particularly for those in need. My background as a social worker equips me with a unique understanding of the critical role of safeguarding vulnerable populations.
