@MonicaGandhi9 Ohio also stopped recommending at home quarantine for in school exposure, masked or not. A pilot study showed the rate of in school transmission to be close to zero. Many more schools stopped masking after that, since they were only masking to avoid quarantine.

@MonicaGandhi9 Half the schools in Ohio have not required masks all year, even during our Delta peak. Their case numbers are the same or less than masked schools. The same data exists in many other states (and countries)! Why is this even a question??

@EWoodhouse7 @DuPageHD At least this one recognizes natural immunity. At our school, if you are vaccinated or are wearing a mask, no quarantine, otherwise a full 14 days with no option to shorten it. Quarantine is simply a punishment for no vax/mask, has zero to do with stopping spread.

@FlookNuber @MGonidakis The piece that invalidates all of this is that vaccinated students don’t have to quarantine, when we know they spread it too. They are using quarantines to bully/coerce people to get the vaccine, not to prevent disease like they are saying.

@MartinKulldorff People don't trust their regular doctors or pediatricians anymore either. They are questioning all they have been told about regular childhood vaccines. The erosion in confidence extends well beyond public health.

@ScottGottliebMD Still a monster. My kids stayed in school 5 days a week last year w no school outbreaks, when most wore cloth masks which we know do nothing. Many schools wore no masks & also had no major outbreaks. Stop abusing kids for theater.

@The_OtherET They don't even have enough N95's for health care workers who work directly with Covid patients. They are only supposed to be used 8 hrs then replaced. If they have a stockpile for kids somewhere I will be truly terrified.

@ScottGottliebMD I'm not sure people realize just how cruel & inhumane it would be to put CHILDREN in N95 respirators all day. It makes me sick to think about. Anyone who does this to their children is a monster.
