You may have made mistakes, bad decisions and lost good people; but they don’t define you. You are not your mental illness and you are not a failure. Learning to accept yourself is the hardest step and it can take a very long time.
It can be hard to look in the mirror and see someone you are proud to be. You must accept that these things happened and come to terms with what has come because of it. Learning how to heal and love yourself is key to moving on.
