remember the times you prayed for God to remove anything out of your life that wasn't of Him?
don't complain when things begin to be removed & it doesn't feel good.
God is faithful to give you the desires of your heart.
trust the process of removing, replacing, & replenishing.
This is your gentle reminder that one time in the Bible Elijah was like “God, I’m so mad! I want to die!” so God said “Here’s some food. Why don’t you have a nap?” So Elijah slept, ate, & decided things weren't so bad. Never underestimate the spiritual power of a nap & a snack.
As much as I interact with people from all walks, I can safely say that they are not attracted to what church you go to first, but want to know if you are the real deal and can love them like Jesus does. Many have been betrayed, are broken and hurt. Matthew 5:14–16
The “do what makes you happy” culture is so toxic for Christians.
We are NOT called to do what makes us happy. We’re called to do what glorifies God.
Christianity isn’t always sunshine & happiness. It’s hard work & dedication to him, not us.
Do. What. Glorifies. God.
