OLD WOUNDS IS OUT 🩷🏳️⚧️
my ya trans horror novel about two kids forced to contend with a legacy of gender violence and cruelty when they stumble across a monster alleged to only eat women, now available wherever books are sold :)
For the sequel release, a lil throwback to the #Beetlejuice episode with @earlybgoode when Zakia saw the film for the first time! https://t.co/aEVHRGhRk1
It's halfway to Halo-halo-ween w/ @earlybgoode, Filipino multi-hyphenate (Netflix's horror anime TRESE, TOMB RAIDER video games, LUMPIA WITH A VENGEANCE)! We discuss BEETLEJUICE, an Oujia board experience, his advice to kids pursuing acting & more! Listen: https://t.co/FmUPpgJFRJ
The thing is, I see why people joke about Watership Down being an incongruous Easter film, but they seem to forget about the fact that its protagonist, thought to be dead, returns to save his people/rabbits. It probably couldn't be more Easter if it tried.
When two children murdered toddler James Bulger in 1993, the British media lost their damn minds and tried to blame a horror video.
We unravel a tangled web of sensationalism, fraudulent research, and some truly bizarre claims about dogs.
Our debut episode is live!
I'm hopping with joy to learn that 'Watership Down: perspectives on and beyond animated violence' is shortlisted for the @baftss award for best edited collection! Congratulations and thank you to all the authors who contributed.

Writing horror for kids is weird on an industry level. Commercially, it's very popular for the age group, but critics and gate-keepers tend to ignore it. Horror people don't think kid's books count, and Kid's Book people don't think horror is appropriate.
Bad Girl Boogey is out on @Shudder everywhere now as a streaming exclusive! A queer micro budget slasher / coming of age film I made when I was 17 with the best cast & crew. We didn’t do a large festival run w this one so please share around and support trans film💖💖💖
