#ACESEvolve
AP Stylebook Study Guides are a series of quizzes about the mechanics of writing and the big-picture issues of storytelling.
Automatic scoring shows you the relevant style rule so you’ll understand the answer and see where to find it in the Stylebook.

One of the key points of effective critical thinking in editing is to think not about what the stylebook says but what the content needs. #ACESEditors#ACESEMERGE#ACES2022CritThinking
@systemofdocks @UCSDExtension (2) Editing is subjective, and copyeditors will each edit differently and for different audiences, but we aim to share as many resources as possible to help editors be more inclusive, avoid bias, and be exposed to other perspectives. I’ll DM you. Would love to talk more w/ you!
@systemofdocks @UCSDExtension (1) Hi Marina! Good to see you! I’m glad you are in the program. I hope to have you in a class! We are following traditional rules of grammar in our program, as you said, but we highly recommend that they/their be used in coursework to be more inclusive.
