@markhysted @computermuseum 2/2 I’d was lucky enough to have borrowed a few computers before from my Dad’s college (we couldn’t buy one because they cost 1000s) so I got the job of operating it! The teachers seemed almost terrified of it! Next stop ZX81.

@markhysted @computermuseum IIRC (guess I was 8 or 9) my primary school had one on loan. It had an edited, localised, version of the 1861 census on it. We were all dragged to the library to look at it because nobody had the faintest idea what to do with it! 1/2
