It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠
You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and @Pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
You can pre-order now exclusively at https://t.co/NoneI6kxdH and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
It would take far more than a month to honor the contributions of queer and transgender New Yorkers.
From the Cercle Hermaphroditos in 1895, the first trans advocacy group in the United States, to the drag balls of the Harlem Renaissance, to the Stonewall uprising, to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, to ACT UP!, founded in 1987 as queer people fought for their lives while the Reagan administration looked away, New York City's history has long been shaped by queer and trans New Yorkers.
To all our queer and trans neighbors: you deserve a City where you can afford to live safely, openly, and joyfully.
Happy Pride, New York City.
happy pride month! in a time where it feels like there’s more division, hateful rhetoric & less acceptance than ever it’s important to shout that you are loved and valid. big love to all the gay, trans and queer people in my phone and at our shows. you always have a home here 🖤
we’ve been reasonably lucky (touch wood) but we still almost didn’t make it last nov. applied in feb, still nothing back by oct. paid another 2K on top of the 3.5k we’d already paid to expedite & suddenly had them. process is slower than ever & one hiccup can derail getting them.
Wishing all the moms out there a wonderful Mother’s Day!
To @MichelleObama, I’m grateful for all the ways you’ve shown up for our daughters and our family over the years. We love you.
A guy I know lost both parents to a drunk driver. He got custody of his 3 siblings and had to drop out of uni to work and take care of them.
He used to joke a lot, always outside, always laughing. After it happened, he barely talked. Just always looked tired.
If this law had been in place it would have eased his burden a bit.
I just want to point out....
The amount of money the United States has spent on war in the last 67 days, is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never can we afford it, it's what we choose to prioritize.
