My parents were one of the parents who banned Zoey 101 when she got pregnant. Proud to say me and my sisters beat high school pregnancy

This gets brought up again & again & all it does is generate clicks, so:

August 10th, 2007 was a series wrap on Zoey 101, episodes #412-413. They made 65 episodes. There were zero plans to do another season. The cast & crew knew it was over.

She’s explained this over and again and again. Just because she’s talking about it again now does not mean she’s never brought it up before. I watched her talk about this in her 2016 TLC documentary, When the Lights Go Out.

So given that her daughter was born in June 2008, it strongly suggests that she was conceived in September/October — a month or so after the show had wrapped.

Obviously, the bigger controversy was that when she announced her pregnancy in December, Goodbye Zoey, the season 3 finale, and all of season 4 had not aired yet.

And given the title & plot of Goodbye Zoey, which premiered two weeks after the pregnancy announcement, the timing was pretty unfortunate & may have contributed to some parents not allowing their kids to watch the show anymore.

But two things are true: she was never pregnant while the show was in production, & they were never coming back to make a 5th season. It was done.
