I was really low on fuel today but I needed to go pick up my kids from school. I was just praying that the fuel just brings me home. I drove to pick them up in our way back the car stopped in the middle of the road.
Chai, my fears finally came true. I had given my wife all the money I had for house upkeep so I was literally on zeros. One of my clients that supposed to pay for a property on Monday has been delaying.
I didn’t even know what to do.
I called a friend of mine and told him my ordeal. He asked me where I was and I told him.
He didn’t say anything and he hung up.
I was there just contemplating what to do, I decided to call my wife to send me small cash but I couldn’t even leave my kids there to hunt for fuel, plus I didn’t have jerrycan in the car.
While contemplating I saw that my guy driving down. He came out with 5 liters of fuel in a Jerry can. You needed to see my relief. 😮💨
In this life, don’t do it alone. Have people you can call, and also be someone others can call upon.

🚨 Rio on why Cherki's plan to hurt Manchester United has completely backfired:
“I genuinely believe Cherki thought joining City would make life easier against United. A lot of players probably would've thought the same. City were winning everything. United were rebuilding. On paper, it looked obvious. The problem is football doesn't happen on paper.
Take the derby for example. The first goal United scored came after City lost possession from a Cherki’s set piece and they got punished in transition. Then there was that sequence where Bruno, Shaw, Cunha and Dorgu were passing the ball around Cherki and City players. They couldn't get near it.
I guess Pep and city players would think: 'This wasn't supposed to happen.' Because for years, teams looked at United and saw an opportunity. Now they're starting to look at United and see a problem. The fear factor is back. That's the difference.
Now Pep has gone. United are getting stronger. The squad is getting better. The football is getting better. And the funny thing is that the people who thought they were joining projects bigger than United are slowly watching United become the project everyone wants to be part of.
I think Cherki imagined United becoming the victim. Instead, every time he looks up, United seem to be the ones moving forward. Football can be very cruel sometimes.”
Diogo Dalot on his daughter:
“This April, Clara had to spend some time in hospital. They had to take her blood. They put syringes in her skin. She got really traumatised. For a father to see his daughter suffer like that, it’s very difficult. Every time a nurse came into her room, she would rise up in her bed and say, “No, no, no!” The first five days, she wouldn’t allow anyone to touch her except me. If the doctors wanted to take her temperature, I had to do it. It couldn’t even be Claudia [wife].
I did not go with the team to train in Ireland. As a father, I wanted to stay at the hospital every single hour of the day.
But every day, I drove into Carrington. I trained for two hours on my own, and then I went back to the hospital. When the team was back from Ireland, I was at training on Saturday. I didn’t know if I would be selected for the game. But I’m playing for United. I had to do my job. I had to know that I had done everything I could to be ready.
Fortunately, the operation was a success, and after that my daughter only wanted mom mom mom. A week later, she was back home, watching daddy play on the TV. When she watches me, she points to the badge and says, “United! United!”
We raised her right.” ❤️

🚨 Cunha on his celebration and how it affects teammates and opponents:
🗣️ Reporter:
“With your celebration style, do you hope it doesn't create some kind of controversy in the Champions League next season like what happened with Vinicius Jr?”
🗣️ Cunha:
“(laughs) Scoring goals for Manchester United brings me a lot of joy, so the dance is just my way of showing it. But I'll be honest... I think it annoys opponents a little bit. And I think my teammates enjoy it even more.
As for what happened with Vini, I really can’t tell why. If somebody wants to get upset because I'm dancing after scoring for United, that's their problem. (laughs) And if somebody wants to get silly because of it, I'd advise them to stay offline. United fans don't play online. Trust me.
I've seen enough already. (laughs) The support from this fanbase has been incredible. So every time I dance, it's my way of giving some of that joy back. The funny thing is that even after I score, the guys are reminding me. Bruno, Mbeumo, Amad...they're all shouting: 'Do the dance! Do the dance!'
And now they've convinced themselves that whenever I score and do the celebration, we don't lose. So at this point, I don't think I have a choice. The dance is staying.”
