@UConnHuskyAD can something be done to improve the cellular and/or WiFi signal on and around Gampel on gameday? All the premier sports venues have figured out how to increase bandwidth to improve the fan experience. As a season ticket holder, it’s the one big negative!
@UConnHuskyAD@YafengWang328 Yes i generally connect to the UConn Guest Network and find it's slow (and often unusable) when Gampel is at capacity. I also try turning off Wi-Fi (I have Verizon) but it's usually in SOS mode meaning no cellular service.
@UConnHuskyAD @JustonRenewable and @Joemango032 it's actually a safety concern ... last time I was at the game there was a family emergency at home and my family was unable to get in touch with me.
Also like it or not, the next generation of fans expect to be "connected" at all times ...
@jimsciutto I agree Jim, this is a major accomplishment worth celebrating! Making humans a multi-planetary species will become just as important as solving climate change. What musk and Bezos have proven w reusable rockets is the game changer and costs will steadily decline at scale.
@gtconway3d This is a short sighted view … humans need to become a multi-plant species to survive and thrive in the future. What Musk and Bezos are doing is the first step in showing that we can send ordinary people to space in reusable rockets (which reduce costs over time).
@ossoff please reintroduce legislation to rename the Russell Office Building (named after a long time Georgia segregationist) after the great John McCain, something your predecessor vehemently opposed. Thank you.
The last time Schumer proposed taking the name of ardent segregationist and civil rights foe Richard Russell off of the most prestigious Senate office building and naming it for John McCain instead, Senator David Perdue objected.
