These child “protection” agencies are a disgrace and a menace.

Iowa mom gives birth. Umbilical cord comes back positive for cocaine. She has never touched the drug. Multiple independent hair tests covering her entire pregnancy come back clean. House is clean. Zero evidence of use.

Doesn’t matter.

DHS storms in unannounced, threatens to snatch her babies, puts her on the child abuse registry anyway, ignores court-ordered retesting, and tries to force her into secret “services.” The hospital and lab straight-up ignore a court order. Case still marked “founded.”

This is not a bug. This is the system.
Child protective services have become a predatory bureaucracy that ruins innocent families while failing the kids who are actually being beaten and starved. They operate with near-zero accountability, weaponize false positives, and treat parents as guilty until proven otherwise — then ignore the proof.

There are decent, well-meaning people trapped inside these agencies. The institutions themselves are broken, power-drunk, and do more harm than good. Full stop.

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...

...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.

His name is Gilbert Martin.

Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."

Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.

He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.

Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!

Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.

He was 86 years old at the time.

He's been there ever since.

Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.

He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.

His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.

But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:

"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."

A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.

And Wilmington noticed.

When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.

Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.

He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.

"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”

If I were the Republican Party, I would do a query for every address where 6+ voters are registered.

Then, I would go through that list to look for how many of those addresses are P.O. Boxes, vacant lots, malls, businesses, churches, shelters, or other non-residential locations.

Then, after locating those non-residential locations, I would see how many of those voters voted & whether they voted by mail.

Foreign Organized Crime Ring Targets Oklahoma Medicaid System

Foreign organized crime syndicates are increasingly targeting state Medicaid systems, and Oklahoma just caught one in the act.

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) announced this week that a foreign crime ring fraudulently enrolled thousands of Oklahomans in SoonerCare. The scheme involved registering individuals who were not eligible by exploiting weaknesses in the enrollment process.

Managed care organizations administering the program flagged the suspicious activity and quickly alerted OHCA. The agency immediately began disenrolling the fraudulent accounts. According to OHCA Interim Director Aaron Morris, the issue was identified early enough that it resulted in no cost to Oklahoma taxpayers.

Morris said states across the country are seeing a rise in fraudulent activity tied to foreign organized crime syndicates and noted that OHCA is working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to strengthen enrollment verification and ensure compliance going forward.

The case highlights a growing national vulnerability. Sophisticated foreign criminal networks have been using stolen or fabricated identities to infiltrate public benefit programs in multiple states. Once enrolled, fraudulent accounts can be used to bill for services, obtain benefits, or launder money through the healthcare system.

The fact that Oklahoma’s managed care partners detected the activity and escalated it quickly is encouraging and suggests current fraud detection systems are functioning. However, it also raises important questions about how thousands of fraudulent enrollments passed the initial screening process.

What specific weaknesses in identity verification and eligibility checks allowed this to happen at such a large scale? How long were the fraudulent accounts active before they were discovered? And what additional safeguards are being implemented beyond the general commitment to strengthen vetting procedures?

Public benefit programs like Medicaid are funded by taxpayers and exist to serve eligible Oklahomans. When foreign organized crime rings successfully exploit those systems, it undermines both the integrity of the program and public confidence.

This incident deserves close scrutiny, not only for what was detected, but for what it reveals about the strength of Oklahoma’s enrollment safeguards against increasingly sophisticated criminal enterprises.
