When I was 14 my dad took me walking to show me a woodpecker's nest. We watched the parents fly in and feed a little red capped youngster. The image has been in my head ever since and finally I was able to batik it. #greatspottedwoodpecker #birdart

My child hood memories are dominated by annual holidays on Shell Island in North Wales. My 6 siblings and I would leave in the dark and arrive to set up camp for 3 weeks come rain or shine. This lamp is inspired by the view from Shell island to Snowdonia #shellisland #snowdonia
