Brazil has some updates regarding PlayStation and Sony ending physical game media🚀

✅Following a consumer complaint, the consumer protection agency PROCON-SP has officially affirmed the rights of PlayStation gamers regarding physical and digital game ownership.

✅Consumers have the right to freely use, sell, lend, and share both digital and physical games with others.

✅Companies are prohibited from imposing new rules or usage restrictions after a game has been purchased or licensed.

✅Sony's current fine print, which allows the company to remove a player's digital collection without warning, is considered abusive and legally invalid.

✅PROCON-SP is not blocking Sony's announced platform migration, but explicitly mandates that the process must fully comply with the Consumer Defense Code and respect all acquired consumer rights.

✅Thus can be significant victory for the player community's organic movement and is currently awaiting a further response from Senacon.

This is some of the most disgustingly arrogant things I’ve ever read and it makes my blood boil.

Because they believe their fans are loyal, they can abuse them however they want and they’ll come back for more.

Their gamers are not to be valued, they are seen as suckers to scam.

Sony nous dit en gros :
« On a le monopole, vous allez accepter les jeux 100% numériques. Pas de concessions sur la propriété réelle, zéro revente, zéro prêt entre potes. On est les leaders, vous finirez par abandonner vos disques et par nous remercier. »
Ils pensent vraiment que leur base digitale est assez grosse pour se passer des joueurs physiques et qu’on va tous baisser la tête parce que « c’est PlayStation ».
Quelle arrogance. Le respect des consommateurs est mort chez Sony. 😤
