I just got this email from Unity. It appears nothing will change for us until the time we upgrade AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Worlds Infinity to Unity 2024.

While we obviously still have concerns, and some future event forcing us to upgrade is certain, the cap is competitive with the only viable alternative. With this information, I am letting you know that we are continuing the development of our games as planned.

That being said, I am also going to assign certain team members to start familiarizing themselves with alternatives should things ever suddenly change. So expect to see a few small prototype games out of nowhere in the future.
