@RtHonBoJo1@codeMonkey71@bbcquestiontime In India alone it is estimated Britain plundered trillions of dollars in value. Prior to Empire, China and India made up a 1/3 of the global economy. We made our first two records on this desk, with Alan, at @2FlyStudio Good memories of hours going over the same 3 seconds of a song, with Alan's foot always tapping along. Thanks for the memories!

there’s been a reassessment of the Blair/Brown government on the Left in recent years: you hear more about its achievements than you used you. that’s good, but it’s also important not to forget that it regularly did things a Tory government would be criticised for (THREAD)

Labour Majority in Bishop Aukland:
1997: 21,064
2001: 13,926
2005: 10,047
2010: 5,218
2015: 3,508
2017: 502
2019: Lost
It's convenient & politically-lucrative for many to scapegoat Corbyn. It won't change the fact many of Labour's #GE2019 losses have been decades in the making.
