… will there be terrains so wild and barbarous to try whether the stuff of creation may be shaped to man’s will or whether his own heart is not another kind of clay.”

@PicturesFoIder Malcolm Gladwell’s podcast, Revisionist History, looks at a similar incident (I think!)
The episode was titled “Blame Game”
People were mistakenly hitting the gas instead of the brake, and it led to a hysteria with Toyota and Lexus vehicles

“Money buys happiness in the same way drugs bring pleasure.
Incredible if done right
Dangerous if used to mask a weakness
And disastrous when no amount is enough.”
@Alan_Couzens Alan, thank you. I understand the concern.
I believe what I’m after is if lipolysis exists on a spectrum, as opposed to an on/off switch in the body with insulin present or not.
Your work here has been expansive to what I’ve known in endurance sports and I am grateful!!
@7Innovator Great pick up for them! Would love to see him wear #5 again like at Stanford. Wish he was traded to another team with red jerseys though 😁 #ChiefsKingdom

Introducing: The Strong Buy Portfolio!
Two years straight of #CloseYourRings
618 runs.
2491.23 miles.
57 pounds lost.
Ran my first 10K, Half Marathon, 15K, 5K, and Ultramarathon in that order.
What did this change for me?
I wasn’t concerned with how long or how fast my runs were anymore. I was excited that it was a part of my daily life.
And that was enough encouragement to go out and do it again tomorrow🏃🏻♂️✌🏽
The last two years I’ve worried less about goals and more about formations.
Instead of saying, “I want to run my 5K this fast,” I would say, “I want running to be a part of my daily life.”
