I’m tired of seeing all these Gyokores/Havertz comparisons/conversations.
When playing for #Arsenal, #Gyokores that we’ve al watched, would hide in games and not out himself in positions to receive passes, even talking about his heavy touches when he’s receiving the ball.

There’s a lot that is expected from an elite striker.
Ability to read games and make those inviting passes is a must for any lethal striker.

Gyokores sometimes wants the pass on a plate as against attacking the ball to get a touch.

These are areas he should improve as a striker.

I have said it countless times that Havertz is not a Striker and shouldn’t be used 90 minutes. He’s more of an impact player and I believe should be a substitute. But Gyokores on the other hand isn’t even helping matters and from where I stand, Arsenal needs a proper striker that creates a goal from nothing and creates shooting chances for himself.

@Arsenal needs a proper striker.
It’s a shame they let @gabimartinelli go without playing him at center forward.
None of the current strikers for me.

@m8arteta needs to know that Havertz is more of a good sub than a starter.

Gyokores on the other hand can’t even do the basics anymore.

For now, I trust Max Dowman in the 18yard box over both of them because of his composure and decision making.

Two truths can co exist.
He was there for Arsenal and stepped up when it mattered.
But it doesn’t negate the fact that he’s falling off and needs a wake up call.
There was a time he was called one the best right winger in the world.

His decision making recently is terrible and he needs to learn to shoot better.

Young Max Dowman makes better decisions in the box than 25 years old Saka in recent times.

We can’t call Saka world class anymore because there are a lot of people that are currently better than him.

He needs to up his game. He’s a professional and earns 300k a week to do what he does.
He needs to get himself up and do better else the club should do what’s best for it and get someone that can actually get the job done ✅
