We need alternatives to Visa-Mastarcard and all the big payment processors.

These themes, like hypnosis, non-con, etc appear often in Western women's dark fantasy romance novels, and yet when it comes to Japanese content, these processors are going ham in trying to censor it.

Some people are accusing these companies of being racist against Japanese media, as pretty much all the high profile payment processor driven censorship has been hitting the Japanese illustration, manga, and anime market.

But then again, the West had big ones with itch dot io and other places getting censored by payment processor power.

These are not real, and treating fiction with the same level of moral panic as real harm is absurd.

As I said, the payment processor monopoly tracking what cannot be sold won't stop at fiction... It's so beyond dystopian that we have an unelected international conglomerate that's dictating what people can purchase.

And it has already moved beyond fiction. PayPal has frozen accounts of journalists and free speech organizations for "wrongthink", and other restrictions have been applied to 2nd amendment friendly products and services.

【大悲報】クレカ規制、ついに一般漫画にまで拡大
先日からPixivFANBOXで、同人誌や成人向け漫画を公開していた作者から「決済会社の指示で公開停止になった」という報告が相次いでいましたが、今回、その規制対象が性的な成人向け作品だけでなく、一般漫画の暴力表現や犯罪描写にまで及んでいることが明らかになってきました。

実際に規制を受けた方々がXで共有している内容によりますと、社会派漫画���の洋介犬氏は「誘拐」というワードが原因ではないかと推測。

トー横系女子の漫画で人気のきたしま氏も、R-18作品ではなく、内臓描写のあるイラストが対象になった可能性を指摘しています。

表現の自由を訴えてきた側からすれば、成人向け作品への規制が一般作品へ波及すること自体は予想していました。しかし、その拡大速度は想像以上です。

これはもう
「一部のサイトだけの問題」
「民間企業なのだから取引相手を選ぶ自由がある」
で済む話ではありません。

決済インフラを利用した民間企業による事実上の表現規制です。

決済事業者が取引停止を武器にすれば、pixivFANBOXのようなコンテンツ販売サイトだけでなく、サ���バー、クラウド、広告、流通など、作品を世に出すためのインフラ全体に間接的な圧力を及ぼすことができます。

そして先日、漫画・イラスト制作のインフラともいえるCLIP STUDIO PAINT（クリスタ）まで決済をめぐる問題が波及したことは、その危険性を象徴しています。

つまり、決済会社が「不適切」と判断した表現を事実上作らせない圧力をかけ、販売や公開、決済や流通、そして制作そのものまで止めることができるのです。

この問題については、日本政府・与党側でも以前から決済事業者との協議が行われ、山田太郎議員や赤松健議員らがクレカ規制の問題に対応してきました。しかし、それでも状況は改善するどころか、規制範囲はさらに広がっています。

これは、一部の国会議員だけでは対応が難しい状況に入っており、日本のコンテ��ツ産業と表現の自由を守るため、政府が本腰を入れて対応すべき段階に来ていることを示しています。

このクレカ規制問題の源流には、オーストラリアの反ポルノ運動団体「Collective Shout」による決済事業者への圧力があります。

同団体は2025年、Steam上の性的暴力などを扱うゲームの削除を求めて活動し、Steam側が要求に応じなかったとして、今度はVisa、Mastercard、PayPal、JCBなどの決済事業者に対し、Steamitch .ioへの決済を停止するよう公開書簡を送りました。

実際にその後、Steamは決済事業者などの基準に抵触するコンテンツを禁止する規約を導入し、itch .ioでも大量の成人向け作品が検索対象から外されました。

つまり、ごく一部の民間団体でも、巨大な決済インフラに圧力をかけることで、世界中の創作物の流通や表現にまで影響を及ぼせる前例ができてしまったのです。
そして今、その規制が成人向け作品を越え、一般漫画にまで広がり始めています。

ほんの少数の民間団体ですら、声を上��ることでここまで大きな影響を及ぼしたのです。

「何を表現してよいのか」を、海外の決済事業者やごく一部の民間団体の価値観によって事実上決められる状態を許してよいのでしょうか？

ならば今度は、私たちの番です。

日本の漫画、アニメ、ゲーム、小説を愛するすべての人たちが、自分たちの大切な作品を守るために声を上げ、この一方的な規制の流れに反撃するべき時です。

I wanted to make a second version of the Torres pic, this time with Vellum Bristol which allowed me to make finer lines, and paint with some of my newer acrylic markers that I was dying to use but wasn't able until now.

Lore-wise, Torres lost his scalp due to an immune system reaction to his metal plates during conversion, not during battle, and decided he wanted to stay like that as an intimidation factor. The remaining mohawk bit is synthetic hair.
