@girl_farm21611@ZeekArkham@BOOSIEOFFICIAL That's a warning so that Austin doesn't touch him. It's saying if you touch me then it's bad for you. It's saying you have no authority over me don't try to be a tough guy.
For example " you've got the right one today"
Means you picked the wrong one bc you're gonna get beat up
@FamineXv@ZeekArkham@BOOSIEOFFICIAL Can kill. Not probably kill. How many people get stabbed once and live? Lots of them.
What if he didn't intend to stab him in the chest?
@indicolt3434@chronicparent@WesleyHuntTX To me that sounds like a warning not an invitation.
It sounds like if you don't want to deal with the consequences of touching me then keep your hands to yourself.
If I said it there would definitely be an implication of violence happening if I was touched.
@ChiefGreyCloud@Riveralicion@WesleyHuntTX I've learned.
That's why I'm polite in public. I keep my hands to myself. I mind my business. I defer to authority and If some guy won't leave my porch I'm calling the police. I'm not gonna start a fight and I won't shoot him either.
Do you see a pattern here?
@NCmountainshome@Boboomski@Watchingth18141@WesleyHuntTX Could have.
He could have been addressed by an adult with the authority to police students.
Karmelo was wrong
Austin was wrong too.
We both agree wrong shouldn't be a death sentence.
Once you get physical you put yourself at the mercy of how the other person responds.
@drewdw333@ZelSnea@WesleyHuntTX The imagery is cool and all but simply he pulled a knife and swung it.
He didn't know if the blow was going to land.
He hoped it did but he had no idea what that knife was gonna do.
@BLTrotter@WesleyHuntTX He's not skilled in combat. He lashed out and he wasn't prepared for the outcome of what he did. Which is evidenced by his reaction afterwards. and statements made to the police.
@ChiefGreyCloud@Riveralicion@WesleyHuntTX I understand testosterone and him feeling like why should I listen to this guy?
My kids know the most important thing is them coming home safe so they should deescalate any situation they find themselves in.
They are only to use their martial arts if they have to.
@BLTrotter@WesleyHuntTX My point is that stabbing is only deadly when they die which usually doesn't happen from one wound. This is why I don't think he deserves murder and 35 years. Manslaughter all day long.
