I spent a month in Zambia for an art residency program where I researched about the lost identity of the 73 tribes in Zambia in relation to the future ahead of us. We need to know and appreciate our identity as Africans so we don’t lose it completely to time.

Looking at the finished setup, I can’t lie—this feels emotional. Nutopia isn’t just another exhibition for me; it’s the first step in a journey I’ve been dreaming about for so long. My 6th solo show, but in many ways, it feels like the first.
