WHY KINGDOM AWAKENS EXISTS
My name is Didio Victores.
I’m a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who has lived long enough to watch our country and culture change dramatically.
I created Kingdom Awakens for one reason: to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ in a world increasingly rejecting Him.
Here I speak about Scripture, faith, family, culture and America through the lens of God’s Word.
I believe the Bible is true. I believe Jesus Christ is Lord. I believe every person will one day stand before Him.
My purpose isn’t to gain the approval of the world. It’s to point people toward the One who can save them.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…” — Romans 1:16
Jesus Christ is our only hope.

Genesis 1:20–23
“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.” KJV
God does not create a barren world. He fills it with life.
The seas teem with living creatures. The skies fill with birds. And again, Scripture emphasizes order: living things reproduce “after their kind.” Life is not presented as meaningless biological activity. It is created, blessed, and given purpose by God.
Notice something else: God blesses His creatures before man ever appears.
That tells us the natural world has value because its Creator gives it value. Life matters because God made it.
Science can study species, migration, reproduction, adaptation, and ecosystems. But describing living systems does not answer the deepest question: why is there life at all?
Genesis answers directly. Life exists because God commanded it.
And the gospel takes that truth even deeper. Physical life is a gift, but eternal life is found only in Christ.
Jesus died for sinners and rose again so that those who repent and believe in Him can receive a life that death itself cannot destroy.
The God who filled the seas and skies with life is still the only One who can give life to the spiritually dead.

The origin of the Bible is not difficult to state, but we should state it accurately.
It was written over many centuries by prophets, apostles, and their close associates. Luke did not claim to be an eyewitness of Jesus’ ministry. He said he carefully investigated the testimony of those who were. Paul encountered the risen Christ. Peter and John were eyewitnesses. Moses wrote under divine revelation about events long before his own lifetime.
But none of that is the ultimate origin of Scripture.
Men wrote the words, but God is the Author behind the authors.
That is the claim you actually have to deal with.
✝️ “All Scripture is inspired by God.” 2 Timothy 3:16 NLT
Buddhism may speak about suffering, but it does not deal with the deepest problem: sin against a holy God. Meditation cannot remove guilt, and good works cannot reconcile man to God. We do not need escape from desire. We need forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone.
✝️ “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
For me, the starting point is not politics. It is this: human life belongs to God, including life in the womb.
Once that is settled, convenience cannot become the measure of whether that life is protected.
✝️ “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” Proverbs 24:11 NIV
This is one of the hardest lessons in the Christian life because everything in us wants to be seen, recognized, and remembered.
John the Baptist understood something we easily forget: the goal is not to build our name. It is to make much of Christ.
If Jesus increases while I decrease, nothing has been lost.
That is not failure.
That is faithfulness.
✝️ “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.” John 3:30 NLT
Fame does not protect a soul from apostasy. When celebrities publicly walk away from Christ, it should not entertain us. It should warn us.
A profession of faith is not the same as perseverance in faith. The issue is not lost influence. It is a heart that has turned from the truth of God.
Pray for repentance. Do not follow departures from Christ.
✝️ “These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us.” 1 John 2:19 NLT
This is exactly what happens when culture is allowed to sit in judgment over Scripture.
The priest’s sermon really did argue that God is “non-binary” and “trans,” and that Jesus “transitioned” in the resurrection. That was presented as a personal theological interpretation, not as something Scripture explicitly says.
But the Bible does not give us permission to reinvent Jesus to fit the language of the age.
Jesus was born male. He lived as a man. He called God His Father. He died, was buried, and rose bodily from the grave. The resurrection was not a gender transition. It was victory over death.
This is not deeper theology. It is reading modern ideology back into the text.
The church does not need a new Jesus for every generation. We need the Christ Scripture has already revealed.
✝️ “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 NLT
This is a needed reminder.
We fight hard to keep government, corporations, and technology from knowing everything about us. And we should care about privacy.
But before God, there is no private room, no deleted message, no hidden motive, no secret sin.
That should sober us.
The issue is not whether people know everything about us. The issue is that God does.
And the right response is not fear of exposure. It is repentance, honesty, and walking in the light.
✝️ “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes.” Hebrews 4:13 NLT
Experiences like this may be interesting, but they are not our authority.
I do not need someone’s near-death story to convince me that hell is real. Jesus spoke about judgment plainly. Scripture is enough.
Test every testimony by the Word of God. If it agrees with Scripture, fine. If it adds details God has not revealed, leave those details alone.
The warning itself is already clear: judgment is real, eternity is real, and every sinner needs Christ.
Don’t wait for an extraordinary experience to take God seriously.
✝️ “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46 NLT
Brother, I hear you. Christians are being persecuted, and when believers are murdered because they bear the name of Christ, church leaders should not look away.
But we have to stay disciplined with the truth.
Condemn the killers. Expose persecution. Challenge Islamic teaching where it denies Christ. Demand protection for Christians.
But do not hand people an excuse to dismiss the whole argument because we repeated a number we could not prove or treated millions of Muslims as though they were all the same.
The truth is strong enough without exaggeration.
✝️ “The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.” Proverbs 29:7 NIV
Exactly. Creation does not save us, but it does leave us without excuse.
The heavens, the earth, life itself, order, beauty, design, conscience, all of it points beyond itself. Man can suppress that truth, explain around it, or rename it, but he cannot erase the Creator.
Romans 1 is very clear: the problem is not that God has left Himself without witness. The problem is that sinful man suppresses what God has made plain.
✝️ “Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible
Genesis 1:14–19
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.” KJV
The sun, moon, and stars are not presented as gods. They are servants.
Genesis strips the heavens of the worship mankind so often gives them. The lights above us do not rule independently. God made them, placed them, assigned their functions, and gave them purpose.
They mark days, seasons, and years. They provide light. They help establish the rhythms by which life on earth is ordered.
That should humble us.
We measure the heavens, calculate orbits, study stars, and map galaxies. Science can tell us much about how these bodies move and behave. But Genesis asks the more fundamental question: who put them there, and why is the universe governed by such remarkable order?
The answer of Scripture is clear. Creation is not ultimate. God is.
And the gospel brings that same truth home. The One who made the stars also entered His creation in Jesus Christ. The Creator came to redeem sinners, died in our place, and rose again.
The heavens display His power.
The cross displays His mercy.

This one is satire, but it points at a very serious issue.
Canada’s MAID law does require a voluntary request, informed consent, and specific eligibility criteria, so the Babylon Bee headline is intentionally exaggerating the policy.
But the deeper question is still real: what happens when a society begins treating death as medical care?
Scripture does not measure human worth by health, independence, suffering, or usefulness. Life belongs to God. Our duty is to care for the suffering, not make death the answer to suffering.
That is where the Christian has to stand, even when the culture calls it compassion.
✝️ “You must not murder.” Exodus 20:13 NLT
No. Memory does not determine human value.
A newborn has almost no memory. A person with dementia may lose much of theirs. A person in a coma may not be able to recall anything at all. None of them become less human because of it.
Our worth is not measured by memory, intelligence, usefulness, independence, or productivity.
It comes from something far deeper: we are made in the image of God.
That is why every human life has value, from the womb to the final breath.
✝️ “So God created human beings in his own image.” Genesis 1:27 NLT
Paula is right about one crucial thing: if you are in Christ, your past is not your master anymore.
But that little phrase matters. Scripture does not teach a vague message of “reinvent yourself” or “God has a better identity for you.” It teaches death to the old self and new life in Christ.
That is why I always want to keep the emphasis where Paul put it. Not on self-esteem. Not on positive declarations. Not on prosperity. On union with Jesus Christ.
Your history does not save you. Your feelings do not define you.
Christ does.
✝️ “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
That is exactly the battle we are in.
Truth is not created by culture, feelings, courts, universities, or governments. Reality belongs to God because He created it.
The Christian is not called to invent truth or soften it. We are called to stand on what God has already revealed, even when the world calls it offensive, outdated, or dangerous.
This is not about winning arguments. It is about refusing to surrender reality to a lie.
✝️ “Your word is truth.” John 17:17 NLT
Valentina, I understand the frustration, but Christians cannot defend truth by exaggerating or condemning entire peoples.
Islam is false where it denies the deity of Christ, His crucifixion, and the gospel. Terrorism should be condemned without hesitation. But every Muslim is still a human being made in the image of God and in need of Jesus Christ.
And the Pope should be judged by Scripture too. Compassion for strangers is biblical. So is refusing to blur the difference between the gospel and false religion.
We do not need softer truth. We need clearer truth.
✝️ “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 NLT
Jesse, there is truth in looking to God instead of being consumed by the problem.
But this is exactly where I get careful.
The Bible never tells us to stare at an “answer” we want and assume faith will produce it. Faith is not positive thinking with Christian language wrapped around it.
Faith says, “Lord, I trust You even if the answer is no, even if the healing does not come, even if the circumstance does not change.”
Real joy is not found in getting the result we wanted.
It is found in Christ.
✝️ “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
