Our COVID-19 re-entry strategy is on our website. Review this info and head to SchoolZone to select which learning option, in-person or online, your child will return to for quarter one of the school year (Sept. 3 to Nov. 10). Let us know by Aug. 21. https://t.co/d7GwpzpDbB
We can’t wait for parents, students and staff to use the new and improved SchoolZone, #EPSB’s main online tool for communicating with families. New to #EPSB? You’ll get a SchoolZone account once your child starts school.

@timquerengesser @WalkcastRadio To be honest, I'm not sure our school ever really had a problem with walking. Most of our students are in the area, and since we live in a walkable neighbourhood (Old Strathcona), I think kids are used to walking places.
@timquerengesser @WalkcastRadio I think we could find someone. Would you like to speak to an administrator or someone on parent council? We even have "walking schoolbuses," so maybe a parent involved in one of those?
@timquerengesser We also did a survey earlier in the year, and out of the people who responded we found only 19% of the students were driven to school. The vast majority, 65%, walked to school. We're proud of that!

@timquerengesser One thing that we’re looking to address in the Strathcona renewal is how to make walking to school safer. @conradnobert is leading the charge on that front, and the city has been very receptive so far.
