Human psychology is wired for tribes. We don't just enjoy greatness, we need it framed as war.

Ronaldo vs Messi.
Davido vs Wizkid.
Fabrizio vs Ornstein. The list is endless.

Most of these people don't even think about each other. But picking a side gives you an identity, an enemy and a stake in something you can't control. The system figured this out long ago. Platforms don't profit from appreciation, they profit from engagement and nothing engages like conflict.

The algorithm will always push "who's better" over "both are great" because loyalty and outrage are the two highest-retention emotions on earth.

The funny part? The "rivals" usually benefit. The rivalry made Messi AND Ronaldo richer. The tension keeps Davido AND Wizkid permanently relevant.

The only people paying the cost are the fans, arguing with strangers at 2am, generating free content for the celebrities, the biggest losers? Those who burn bridges over such things.

Tribalism is a bug in our psychology and l internet just found a way to monetize it 24/7.

Godfrey was lost in the desert. He had just few slices of bread and drops of water left, a portion that could barely suffice for a meal. Tired and hungry, he stoicly decided to delay eating his last meal for some more hours or days.

He BELIEVED and was CONVINCED there is food and water somewhere, and all he had to do was get to such a place and he will be fine. That BELIEF and CONVICTION about food and water he wasn't seeing immediately and didn't even know how he could get to them is FAITH.

While trying to figure his way out, Godfrey had some nagging thoughts or voice telling him to just eat and drink what he had because there was no more anywhere. The voice told him he wasn't going to find any other before death arrived. Yet, a strong force made him to defy those thoughts and voices of discouragement. That's HOPE.

As he searched through the desert, he stumbled upon John, another unfortunate fellow, who was almost giving up. He too had been lost and ravished by hunger and thirst to the point of death. If nothing was done immediately, his soul was exiting his body. Godfrey shared his bread and water with him to give him some lifeline. Now, that's LOVE.

The church calls them the three Theological virtues. Some theologians call them the INFUSED virtues.

1Cor13:13 says: "There are three things that last, Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest is love

Do you know why love is the greatest? I will tell you right away. Firstly, love is the greatest because as soon as Godfrey finds food and water, faith and hope cease to exist, but love continues beyond that stage. Love is eternal. Faith and hope are not.

Secondly, faith and hope helped him keep his own life, love made him help in keeping another's life. Love makes us look beyond ourselves unto others. That's why the bible says God is love. God is the greatest, love has got to be too.

Possessing these virtues and operating your life by them is the zenith of spiritual maturity, that's what makes you The MD/CEO of Zenith bank of spirituality.
