@NIRA_Ug@martinssempa Dear @NIRA_Ug how do I know the pick up office of my ID ….? Especially for us who are in Kampala that has many pick up locations.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT 🥁🔥
Family, the moment is finally here.
I’m excited to reveal the title of my upcoming book:
IDENTITY: LOST IN HISTORY-FOUND IN PURPOSE
This project is personal. It began with a painful encounter of racial profiling that pushed me to trace my lineage, confront uncomfortable truths, and reclaim the parts of myself that history tried to silence.
What emerged is more than a memoir. It is a social-legal reflection on identity, dignity, and purpose in a world where bias still shapes so many lives.
Why IDENTITY matters:
It offers perspective, courage, and clarity for anyone navigating belonging, heritage, or purpose. It’s a reminder that knowing who you are is the most powerful foundation for where you are going.
🎉 Save the Date:
Friday, December 12, 2025 ; The official global launch.

@asmahaney12 First, I call on Jesus, then do one thing at a time as He leads me in my spirit.
In other situations I tend to crash out😂😂😂 but hey, I remember to call on Jesus again.
Thank you, NBS TV, for hosting me this week on the Breakfast Meeting Show to discuss the future of Uganda’s legal profession.

“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people”. Eleanor Roosevelt
Simply put, "your circle of friends will either fuel your vision or drain it." If the people around you spend more time tearing others down than building each other up, you’re in the wrong room.
Choose friends and colleagues who challenge your thinking, inspire your growth, and celebrate your wins. Those are the people who help you become the best version of yourself; no gossip required.
Because in the right circle, you’re too busy dreaming, creating, and making a difference to waste time on the wrong conversations.
Happy Monday to you!

Understanding that your well being is strategic and not optional is one of the greatest life strategic plans you can master.
Prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and make time for joy. A healthy you is a powerful you. Invest in yourself and watch your life transform.

One of the most powerful things I heard recently came from @DrJamesMagara during my graduation last Saturday. He opened his speech with these words:
”The evidence of how each of you is uniquely made is in your fingerprint, your iris, your voice, and your walk. No one else in this world has those things. They are uniquely yours, and when anyone needs to identify you they use your unique feature.”
That hit me hard. Just think about it, it means that what God intended you to do is already built into you. Your purpose isn’t borrowed, copied, or second-hand. It’s embedded in who you are.
And yet, it’s so easy to lose sight of that. We get distracted by other people’s wins, their journeys, or even their struggles. But truth is, you carry the evidence of your uniqueness with you every day.
You are one of one. Walk like it. Speak like it. Live like it.

Last year I joined a governance program that runs every Saturday at 5:30 AM. Yes, 5:30 😅
I almost said no. Too busy, too tired, too much going on.
But God reminded me that this is part of my purpose.
And as I graduated on Saturday, here are some of my highlights in the one year training journey;
1.Leaders must mentor. I mentored 5 people all year. It grew me.
2.I wrote a legal memoir as my project. Soon-to-be author 👀
3.I started interceding for those I influence. Prayer is part of leadership.
4.I learned more about Uganda than I ever did in school.
5.Emotional intelligence, critical thinking, books, leadership is practical.
6.We read 12 books, 1 every month. The discipline alone… whew.
7.Each month we studied a Bible character. God still calls ordinary people.
But the greatest of all lessons is this; Nothing purposeful comes easy. But when you know your “why,” and you trust God with the “how,” you’ll find grace for the journey even on a Saturday, at 5:30 AM while the rest of world slumbers, it is worth it 😇🎉
Congratulations to me!! 🥳
