I have a dream, that one day a proud resident of Mkoba suburb in Gweru will wake up in the morning and catch a metro/subway/tube or tram to go to work.
Development is a matter of mindset. I was looking at this picture and thought, surely, what good can come out of someone who thinks like this? How about those who see it happening and just walk on? What good can come out of someone who eats a banana and drops the skin where they stand? What good can come out of someone who throws litter out of a moving vehicle? What good can come out of someone who appropriates private property and makes it their own, to serve only them and their family? Progress starts with us at an individual level. Happy Sabbath.
A couple of weeks ago, I watched the movie Gladiator 2. It is an amazing movie. When I watch American politics today, it seems as if I am still watching the movie. Macrinus and homeboy are playing the same dirty politics. One was in a movie. The other one is real life.

What is the law in Zimbabwe pertaining to gifts? Does the reciever pay any tax on a gift they have received from a parent, grandparent or anyone? My grandfather wants to gift me a house and a truck.

@joseph_kalimbwe I did my A level in Zimbabwe, went overseas for a degree. I had to sit for a year and a half waiting for everyone in class to catch up. I started learning new stuff toward the end of my second year in University. A level does help a lot.
@ZimTreasury When are the civil servants who received half pay or did not receive anything at all going to be paid? Why not communicate before hand that the payday has changed. Have you seen the number of stranded people outside banks this morning?
@LanceGuma Itβs about the terrain. A straight route requires cutting through mountains and building a lot of new bridges. Have you ever checked the number of bridges between Harare and Kwekwe. Same have to be built on a straight road at a larger scale because the rivers are wider down there
