@NishantSKumar Germany has not been a significant force at tournaments for a decade now. Ever since they won the 2014 WC.
It really would have been something Japan had pulled off the upset! That would have been wonderful from Asian football point of view
@cricketingview While I agree with the point on laws being applied correctly etc, surely we can all allow for a bit of emotion on display (seemed quite harmless to me) in such situations

"It's very very smart from Jonny Bairstow"
"Brilliant work by Jonny Bairstow, a wicket out of absolutely nothing there"
"a lot of credit to Jonny Bairstow for realizing the moment"

@BenRothenberg Not sure I understand all the drama and discussion. So many South Africans represented England when their national teams were banned during apartheid years. If her nationality is now Kazakh, how does it matter?
@pushkar_g_singh Dont have any issue with that - SMG had the biggest influence as a batter on India's test match batting. Kapil is the other case to be argued - being the highest wicket taking fast bowler, some memorable spells in Eng and Oz along with his attacking batting
@pushkar_g_singh I think Hobbs or Hutton have the strongest case. Botham seems a popular choice but i agree i may not consider him the best ever Eng cricketer. WG is more of a legend, i am not sure he can be considered the best ever
@pushkar_g_singh@icelandcricket Lillee (went quite close in 1975) - early great in the ODI era me thinks even though he didnt play as much as he's have if he had started 10 years later
Mccullum - I think he deserves to be called for changing the way ODI cricket is played (in some ways even inspiring England)
Our house in Patna. One fine morning government turns up with bulldozers to acquire it for a flyover. We've been living here for 50 years. The government had not paid us anything. They have given us a 2 hours notice. I realise how Jews felt when Nazis come calling. Please #share
The house is done and dusted. Now the fight begins. There are around 40 affected families. No one knows where they will go. This is the most blatant misuse of power I've personally witnessed. Here is my parent's life. We are using our neighbours yard for now.
