Anyone putting budget first in todayβs music industry doesnβt have practical knowledge.
If youβve worked with an actual budget, youβd understand budgets donβt break songs or artists; they amplify whatβs already there.
If you come with the mentality that you have βenough budget,β your money will go down the drain.
Music marketing way you go put out campaign for Twitter. Na that day Ronaldo go score hat trick of bicycle kicks or make wizkid use the whole week swear for person.
i am in a market where my sounds market share comes second. regardless without a fucking blink, i will out $100,000 into it.
and i would for another who i truly believe in the sound and vision of progress.
@D_realfave_@6tus_BMT you are still borderline and an exception as this was speaking to the B list, C list, D list acts who are femcees .there are greats out there. i was just frozen by the feedback
Like most jobs in the music industry, much of A&R work is unglamorous. Endless spreadsheets, budget approvals, countless agreements, sample clearance, delivery checklists, contract status updates, and a never ending sea of email. Taste is maybe 5 percent lol
