@love_rarely Brilliant tonight in London. Love the new album, my favourite in a long time. My only criticism (sorry) was tonight was too short. More please!!
@EbenUpton is it possible to create custom Pico W boards? I couldn't really find much in the docs about the wireless chip that's used. Is it available for anyone to buy?
@BrentRiverPark All the trees outside my daughter's nursery were pollarded today. It transformed a nice shady pickup area into what felt like the surface of the Sun. Nobody could leave fast enough.
Having Black Mirror inappropriately interrupted by blasting music & dancing underpants man advert is an eerie flash-back to 15 million merits. I'm assuming this is all intentional @charltonbrooker
@LKPleasehold I'm not sure this changes anything for those of us managed by large agents with policies covering multiple sites. I see an invoice for £4m, how am I to tell if that's good value for me. All I know is it goes up 40% every single year for past 3 years.
That apology doesn't cut it @CommunityFibre. I depend on my connection to work. I can't have it drop for hours with ZERO communication from my provider. This isn't good enough, this is cowboy stuff. I'll be finding a real ISP when it comes to renewal.
@DanNeidle@GeorgeGreenwood The distinction between what counts as an advance in the field and what's considered only a benefit to the business sounds like a recipe for creative arguments.
@DanNeidle@GeorgeGreenwood Does it really have to benefit the overall field? So surely you have to publish your results and methods to do that? Who, in the private sector, is publishing the results of their R&D like that?
@krttvnt@kanwardeep007@CommunityFibre You could argue it's less safe to do on a public network you don't trust, like a cafe. But we're talking about our broken home internet connections here so that argument is dumb.
@krttvnt@kanwardeep007@CommunityFibre It's safe, it's a common thing to do for a variety of reason. These people are idiots. Unfortunately, you can't trust anyone on here (including me).
@Adam_Hosker@The_Landlord@TessaShepperson@adrian_thompson I can't help you follow that logic. Next time I would probably do just one person but I can imagine situations where people would still want multiple and then would need to pay multiple silly ICO reg fees. Thanks for your help, was useful.
@Adam_Hosker@The_Landlord@TessaShepperson@adrian_thompson It seemed like a good idea at the time to have both parties so both could officially make decisions and save time/effort. Maybe if one was going to be unavailable for a long period but that's probably very unusual.
