He loss to Shakur. Are you saying he’s supposed to be rewarded for losing? & it makes perfect sense for 2 guys both ranked in the Top 6 to fight each other.
@kingpauldo_ No disrespect but you gotta make it make sense. He's not going from fighting Shakur for the WBC strap to fighting someone that's ranked in the top 10 . It don't make sense .
Giving Shakur a good competitive fight is damn near a curse !! Fans will praise you but it be damn near Impossible to get a fight after.. You don't hear no fighters calling for Zepeda or Edwin since they fought Kur ..
Just a friendly reminder to you that the WBC has raised the allowable limit of OSTARINE that can be found in a fighters system. Did ya’ll forget? This decision, ironically, came only about 2 months before
the announcement of the Ryan vs Barrios fight. Let’s refreshen that palette again, yes?
As we know, Ryan was caught and BANNED FOR A YEAR due to his use of the PED Ostarine during his fight with Devin Haney in April of 2024. Why are there no questions being asked about the newly raised levels for this PED as a whole? Does no one see the convenience of Ryan returning from a loss to Rolly Romero, into an opportunity for another title shot where the levels of the drug he popped for have been HEIGHTENED?
I’m curious about the gullibility of the boxing public that would assume that Ryan wouldn’t indulge in the opportunity to repeat the very pattern that brought him PUBLIC ACCLAIM and stature in his cheating of Devin Haney. Despite Ryan’s recent claims of undergoing VADA testing for this fight, we have a history of this man’s behavior that can’t be disregarded. With the permittance of raised levels for this PED, how can he be penalized, for example, if similar traces were in his system for this upcoming fight comparable to the Devin Haney scandal? Thus the purpose and peril of the WBC’s allowance of this drug.
We’d be remiss as boxing fans to overlook how Ryan, on his first fight back since his defeat to Rolly, is virtually being given a GREEN LIGHT to cheat again, and again… unfettered. Worse yet, this isn’t the first account of the WBC doing such. Is this failure to interdict the use of PEDs a new chapter of “open season” in boxing?
Lightweight contender Justin Pauldo won by knockout this past Saturday night in Fresno after Nike Theran (20-2, 14 KOs) did not answer the bell for round 8. Pauldo has won his last his 3 bouts and improved to 20-2, 10 KOs .. #boxing@kingpauldo_@DanielRubinPBTV @Jmizzone
The shift we’re seeing in Boxing of more evenly matched & competitive fights is putting an emphasis on quality coaching & preparation. I hope fighters realize that. There are no more “easy” fights in Boxing.
‼️Justin Pauldo BEATS Said Chino‼️
He is now 18-2 and looking to move even higher in the rankings than the 14th spot he was already at!

Those training camps in the mountains be so tough from both the mental & physical aspect but when done properly you get some incredible performances on fight night
Seeing Gary Russel in the ring right now makes me sad he spent so much time out the ring. Could’ve had some legendary performances over those years. Inactivity is bad for Boxing!
