No but around the same age, my older brother convinced me to try chewing tobacco. He was partial to Red Man but sometimes Skoal.. (he was clear, "DON'T swallow it, don't swallow any juice")
The taste was sweet at first, then the raw power of it all rocked me and I horked in the sink.
20 years later, I'd try what an elderly man would call "a twist o' tobaccah" in exchange for helping him shower, as an aide. A twist of chew and a can of Diet Rite. Right on time.
@Raeskywolker1 This is actually the sequel to Williams' pinball machine PIN-BOT: The Machine
(Bride Of Pin-Bot)
I used to play the shins out of this game as a kid in a local tavern.
@CashlinRap Also, toss lighters and shit around as if you have skills and then, perhaps, after time, you may have em. It may seem elementary.. it is! But I just forever keep my hands occupado by flipping small inanimate objects and catching them as often as I can.
@CashlinRap Seriously, I just remember lines from movies like Jacky Chan's directorial debut, Fearless Hyena, and it's stuff like, "Study! And act with THOUGHT."
"I said a proper stance.. not an IMPROPER one!" But it's steady appropriation of those pneumotechnics, gimmicks.. it helps me.
@CashlinRap And, what's more, perhaps, work performed on one's attitude in advance of meeting said task could work a lot of hot magic, too. Intention is bitchin'. No guarantee, but a solid foundation.
@CashlinRap Perhaps the same mentality that allows one, ideally, to escape the clutches of a hold. Breathe, relax, shimmy, work. It's not forever, whatever it is.
@CashlinRap It's pretty interesting.. just a little calm resetting, usually in the MIDST of the shit, can do a world of good if you can hack it.
I can't tell you how many Tekken strategies I've changed, ad-lib, just by staying cool, thinking and adapting. That's just one. Come back strong.
@Raeskywolker1 Well, I think it was actually theatrically released in the mid-80s, by TROMA..
And it hit the shelves when.. it was "supposed to," I suppose, and it went from there. :)
Ah, glad I still got it. It was 1986, after double-checking. Figured it was 85 or thereabouts.
