Canada's foreign policy is sheer lunacy.

Canada just voted at the UN for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Israel is thumbing its nose at the UN (including Canada) by continuing to engage in a killing spree in Gaza.

Yemeni forces have responded to Israel's slaughter of Palestinians by blocking maritime traffic to Israel. The Yemenis say they will allow free passage of ships to Israel if Israel stops the killing.

The best way for Canada to restore maritime traffic in the Red Sea is to ensure, along with its allies, that Israel complies with the UN resolution WHICH CANADA SUPPORTED.

Instead of demanding that Israel comply with the UN resolution which Canada supported, what does Canada do? It contributes to a US-led naval coalition which aims to use force to protect ships travelling to and from Israel.

In other words, Canada will now facilitate, by force, Israel's refusal to comply with a resolution that Canada supported.

Sheer lunacy.
