Steps to renewing your Nigerian Nursing License as a diaspora Nurse.
1. Make sure your NMCN portal has your current address and is updated

2. Subscribe to WCEA( The World Continuing Education Alliance) as a diaspora Nurse. It's $100 for 3 years access. I subscribed twice by mistake and instead of refunding my money, they gave me 6yrs access 🙄 NMCN sent me a link to register before my license expired. Or you can go to https://t.co/uZfaqixGNS

3. Get your 3 credits, which is 30hrs. I did courses with 2 hrs. You go do courses tire😂

4. Go back to your NMCN portal and apply for license renewal.

5. Choose exempted from mcdp and diaspora Nurse as a reason. They will request for proof of residence like your residence permit, international passport, drivers license, etc.

6. Fill out the rest of the form, upload the required documents and make payment. I paid 46,947.69 naira which included courier fee.

You will get approval within 2 weeks and your license mailed within a month.

You can also make payments and upload documents later.

Seriously, NMCN should have a rethink because this move of theirs will devalue Nursing, making things worse than it is.
