@muha_mo gives a Play-In preview for the Kings vs. Mavericks matchup. Can Sabonis, LaVine and DeRozan lead the Kings over Anthony Davis and the Mavs tonight?

🚨9TH SEED CLINCHED🚨
Sacramento will take on the Dallas Mavericks with a healthy Anthony Davis in the 9 vs. 10 Play-In matchup! The game takes place Wednesday on ESPN.
Win or go home…
Doug Christie finishes the regular season with a 27-24 record (14-9 at home). Pretty good considering everything that went on during his tenure. Franchise guard was traded, the team suffered the most injuries we’ve seen in the Beam Team era, lost a top assistant coach.
Doug has a good case to keep the job full time.
End 2Q: Kings 57, Suns 54
• Domas Sabonis - 17 pts, 7 reb, 4 ast
• Zach LaVine - 10 pts, 4/7 FG, 2/3 3PT
• Jonas Valanciunas - 12 pts, 5 reb, 3 off reb
The Kings maintained a lead for the whole half, but the Suns kept it close. A win or Mavs loss secures 9th place!
End 4Q: Kings 100, Clippers 101
• Domas Sabonis - 19 pts, 16 reb, 5 ast
• Zach LaVine - 26 pts, 5 ast, 4 reb
• DeMar DeRozan - 16 pts, 8 ast, 3 reb
The Kings battled, but the Clippers defense held up well. We will have to wait until the last day of the season to clinch 9th.
End 2Q: Kings 49, Clippers 50
• Domas Sabonis - 10 pts, 11 reb, 2 ast
• Trey Lyles - 9 pts, 4/4 FG, 5 reb
• Keegan Murray - 7 pts, 2 reb, 1 stl
The Kings led for most of the half and played well. A win here clinches 9th place, so it would be huge to be able to pull this out!
End 4Q: Kings 116, Nuggets 124
• Zach LaVine - 27 pts, 11 ast
• Keon Ellis - 20 pts, 6 reb, 2 blk
• Trey Lyles - 17 pts, 9 reb, 4 ast
Underwhelming performance/effort after the Kings had played so well the last few games. Felt like Denver wanted this more than Sacramento.
End 2Q: Kings 58, Nuggets 66
• Trey Lyles - 9 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast
• Keon Ellis - 9 pts, 2 reb, 1 blk
• Domas Sabonis - 6 pts, 6 reb, 1 ast
It was a fun, up and down half between these two teams. Let’s see if the Kings can clamp down on defense in the second half.
The Kings can clinch the 9 seed tonight if:
• Kings beat Nuggets (on ESPN)
• Mavs lose to Lakers (on ESPN)
Big night in Sacramento. 👀 The Kings face the Nuggets without Mike Malone and the Mavs host Luka Dončić for the first time since the trade.
🚨PLAY-IN RACE🚨
With the Phoenix Suns’ loss to Golden State, Sacramento has clinched a Play-In spot!
A Kings win + Mavs loss tomorrow would clinch the 9th seed for Sacramento.
Will be a fun night as the Kings host the Mike Malone-less Nuggets on ESPN. 👀
End4Q: Kings 127, Pistons 117
• Zach LaVine - 43 pts, 8/11 3PT
• DeMar DeRozan - 37 pts, 14/26 FG
• Domas Sabonis - 19 pts, 15 reb, 10 ast
A great win, led by LaVine and DeRozan. Short a few players and on a back to back, didn’t matter. Kings looking much better!
End 2Q: Kings 62, Pistons 72
• DeMar DeRozan - 22 pts, 7/11 FG, 8/10 FT
• Domas Sabonis - 12 pts, 7 ast, 6 reb
• Zach LaVine - 13 pts, 2/2 3PT
The Kings held up well in the first quarter, but the tired legs of a B2B showed up in the 2nd.
End 4Q: Kings 120, Cavs 113
• Zach LaVine - 37 pts, 15/21 FG, 7/11 3PT
• Domas Sabonis - 27 pts, 10 reb, 7 ast
• DeMar DeRozan - 28 pts, 7 ast, 4 reb
The Kings Big 3 came up big to get a huge upset win in Cleveland! Every win is vital in this tight play-in race.
Tough news for the Phoenix Suns, who are obviously right behind Sacramento and on the border of making the Play-In.
This does mean, however, that there is a chance Durant plays Sacramento in the final game of the season. 👀
Phoenix Suns All-Star Kevin Durant is expected to miss at least one week through team's three-game road trip with a left ankle sprain, sources tell ESPN. Suns are 1.5 games out of Play-In with the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA.

🚨GAMEDAY🚨
The Sacramento Kings take on a familiar foe in Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. Every game is big at this point in the season with the Kings fighting to cling on to a Play-In spot.
