KMFD (E56) responded this afternoon with @CALFIRECZU @WoodsideFire_CA to a report of smoke coming from a residence in the Kings Mtn area. Fire was quickly located and extinguished. No reported injuries. One dog rescued.

REDUCING WILDFIRE RISK: Weather permitting, a pile-burning operation will take place next to Kings Mountain Road in Huddart Park in San Mateo County next week. This is scheduled to be a one-day operation. Our goal is to burn early to mid-week, but the burn may be postponed depending on conditions. 🔥

KMFD (R56) responded this morning with @CALFIRECZU @SMCSheriff @CHP_RedwoodCity to a single vehicle collision, with no patients on Skyline, south of HW 92. Road is very slick on curves with all the rain; please drive at a safe speed.

KMFD new Rescue56 was put in service this past month. Replaced our old reliable R56 workhorse that was in service for 21+ years, >4,000 responses. Shown here w/ ERV56 on a trail rescue response today.
