KMFD (E56) responded this afternoon with @CALFIRECZU@WoodsideFire_CA to a report of smoke coming from a residence in the Kings Mtn area. Fire was quickly located and extinguished. No reported injuries. One dog rescued.

KMFD hosting the San Mateo County Volunteer Training Academy at Station 56 with @CALFIRECZU and #CoastsideFire , working on hose pulls and fire attack.
REDUCING WILDFIRE RISK: Weather permitting, a pile-burning operation will take place next to Kings Mountain Road in Huddart Park in San Mateo County next week. This is scheduled to be a one-day operation. Our goal is to burn early to mid-week, but the burn may be postponed depending on conditions. 🔥

KMFD (R56) responded this morning with @CALFIRECZU@SMCSheriff@CHP_RedwoodCity to a single vehicle collision, with no patients on Skyline, south of HW 92. Road is very slick on curves with all the rain; please drive at a safe speed.

KMFD sponsored a community fire extinguisher day at Station 56. Special THANKS to Bubba's Fire Extinguishers for their efficient service & great customer support. Their team inspected/serviced ~40 fire extinguishers, providing critical fire risk reduction for our community.

KMFD new Rescue56 was put in service this past month. Replaced our old reliable R56 workhorse that was in service for 21+ years, >4,000 responses. Shown here w/ ERV56 on a trail rescue response today.
