Brian Bates is set to debut his new comedy special, Worried, on Friday, July 24, at 4 p.m. CT on the Nateland Entertainment YouTube channel.

Bates turns overthinking, people-pleasing and becoming a first-time dad in his fifties into a hilarious look at marriage, parenting and getting older. Filmed at The Lab at Zanies (@thelabatzanies) in Nashville, the special finds comedy in bad driver’s license photos, dating apps, sleep apnea, potty-training emergencies, and the everyday situations Brian somehow manages to make much more stressful.

Following the earthquakes that struck various locations in Venezuela, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched a humanitarian response that includes the distribution of approximately 5,000 assistance kits, which are expected to benefit more than 23,500 people in the affected communities.

The response, coordinated by the Church in conjunction with humanitarian organizations and government authorities, aims to assess the most urgent needs and ensure that aid reaches those who need it most quickly.

The kits include food, drinking water, hygiene items, and other essential supplies. As part of this first phase of assistance, mattresses, blankets and pillows are also being distributed to families temporarily in shelters. This assistance is for anyone in need.

At the same time, the Church is preparing other projects to support families who have lost their belongings. The Church is committed to helping communities throughout their recovery.

Marking 100 years since The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s first performance at the Hollywood Bowl in 1926, this historic return united music and humanitarian purpose in a celebratory concert benefitting women and children around the world.

One hundred percent of ticket sales revenue from the concert will be donated to CARE, Helen Keller Intl, and The Hunger Project. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will match the revenue from concert ticket sales, thereby doubling the charitable contributions associated with the event.

It’s almost time. My first movie, @BreadwinnerMov, is in theaters nationwide tomorrow. This movie has been a long time coming and I’m thankful for everyone who helped make it happen. One thing that mattered to me with this film was making tickets more affordable. Growing up, going to the movies with my family was one of my favorite things to do. The First Presidency has announced new age-group names for young women—names that reflect their identity, growth, and purpose.

The new age-group names are:
• Builders of Faith (young women turning 12 or 13)
• Messengers of Hope (young women turning 14 or 15)
• Gatherers of Light (young women turning 16 or older)

Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman said the spiritual significance of the names became especially clear to her during a recent visit with young women in Tahiti.

“As the girls sang, I was inspired to think of these covenant-keeping young women whose purpose and mission would be to build faith, share hope, and gather and reflect light around the world,” President Freeman said. “My eyes teared up as I realized the Spirit had been leading this process all along, inspiring names of faith, hope, and light that would help God’s daughters live as disciples of Christ and prepare them to enter a lifelong sisterhood of charity—the Relief Society.”
