🚨Conor McGregor got a ROARING applause when he recited BIBLE VERSE Galatians 2:20 from memory.
“[Jesus Christ] is everything in my life… ‘It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.’ All glory to God.”
Zoom in. Look at the pain in those eyes. Whatever you see here doesn't do justice to what Christ actually endured. And to think, every moment of that agony on the cross was spent thinking of us.
I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
90s kids grew up in Philly watching an all-time great MVP who was the most culturally influential player in NBA history and have zero insecurity about LeBron being on the team
I hope y'all realize by now how deranged Kobe stans are
Technically not an on-court moment, but this right here stamped him in LA forever in my book.
People can say whatever they want, but tearing up the script, speaking straight from the heart, carrying that emotional weight all season long in the middle of such a crappy, uncertain year and giving LA fans something to celebrate at the end of it all was amazing.
I truly believe only LeBron was the one capable of shouldering that burden and keeping LA centered. Kobe said if you needed to be convinced to put on that jersey, you ain’t the one.
Bron was the one at a time they needed him most. 💛💜
I was so sharp and so ready for this fight I cannot believe what has happened. The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. The devil is literally staring at me right in front of my face here. I am not engaging. I will be at church tomorrow.
I will overcome this.
I will not be deterred.
I will return.
No, THANK YOU! Truly a honor to wear the 💜💛 while trying to continuing the greatness & legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint. 🙏🏾🫡👑
