@Gatty54@StefanMauk Agree there are plenty of people out there living fast and loose. But for many that's because they've given up on things like home ownership or a family.
We're comfortable and happy. I feel for the next generation. They'll might never own a home, have a family, or see the world
@Gatty54@StefanMauk You see couples out once, you don't know if they're out once a month, every week, or scrounging up enough coin to celebrate a birthday once a year.
I'm not young, have a good job, & definitely don't go out, & even we have to study the budget to see if we could afford more kids
@Gatty54@StefanMauk Go tell a 20 year old fresh out of school/uni that that can find a well paying job to afford a 2+ bedroom house, daycare, and baby necessities, and see what they tell you.
A lot of young couples can't afford to give kids a good life, if anything they are less selfish.
Valkanis' angry football got found out fast.
Can't expect to win games through aggression alone and that seemed to be the only plan this season.

@lepinkpig@itjohnstone@SolidEvidence@Fusionfunn Yeah never a pleasant experience!
Newer dry magnets only have a few mL in a closed circuit so don't even need quench pipes. So helium concerns will hopefully be a thing of the past!
@lepinkpig@SolidEvidence@itjohnstone@Fusionfunn A modern wet magnet shouldn't need a top up unless you're having issues, hence why I mentioned a quench.
It's been a long time since magnets have needed regular top ups.
The only time we are topping up is occassionally on delivery because of some burn off on the long travel here
@SolidEvidence@itjohnstone@Fusionfunn Maybe if your magnets quench and you don't have supply to top them up again.
But if they don't quench or have a reason to be ramped down/up then they wouldn't need a top up.
Think this is the lowest I have ever seen @brisbaneroar as a club....
- Suncorp an absolute ghost town.
- The Den down to about 100 people.
- The football they play is simply dismal.
- Advertising/marketing for the club is non existent.
- Losing their brightest talent to a rival.
Such a sad time for the club that represents Australia's 3rd biggest city...
