@NjauJuliet I see Mt. Kenya in the morning nikiwa Mihang'o, Utawala. All you need is a vantage point. Murima people are joined socio-culturally. We share the same customs, language, history (Mau Mau), origins, and so much more. It's not about Geography, pliss
Hehe, I see Mt. Kenya in the morning nikiwa Mihang'o, Utawala. All you need is a vantage point. Murima people are joined socio-culturally. We share the same customs, language, history (Mau Mau), origins, and so much more. It's not about Geography, pliss.
Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku previously argued that Kiambu should be considered a region on its own rather than part of the broader Mt. Kenya bloc, reportedly telling residents at a public gathering that because they do not wake up to the sight of Mount Kenya, they should chart their own regional identity.
@vinguard254 This interview gets even better when they start talking about deployment of Kenya Police to Haiti. Sifuna brings it whole circle with the now famous, "Pokomo elder, you are lying."
Sijui we call it triple entendre, but the Pokomo, elder, and lying all tie back to this earlier bit
@ReubenKigame This is being disingenous. The messaging is consistent; agenda is CoK 2010. Sifuna says it every day, "A dictator who collects taxes will build roads and stadiums. A democratic president will also build roads and stadiums with the added advantage of not killing you." Jielimishe.
@MigunaMiguna He definitely did not say refund. He said the debt will be paid. What does he owe the people? Putting him in office and trusting him. Nothing monetary there is being "refunded". Rhetoric is important in political messaging. He's good at it. You're being deliberately obtuse.
@Gitz__ Context is important. He's talking about being beholden to financiers like Atwoli who give millions for campaigns and then expect repayment in tenders/contracts. He would rather be beholden to the citizen who gave him 10 bob and repay them by reducing fuel by 10 bob. Jielimishe.
@MihrThakar He's been on message throughout; a government that adheres to the constitution. Even dictators who collect our taxes will build stadiums, roads, but will kill you as a by the way. A truly democratic president will build roads, stadiums, and won't kill you for shits and giggles.
@JullietNjeri He wasn't even eloquent. It sounded more like the babbling of a mentally unstable person. Cause he was throwing big words, but their meaning and what he was saying often did not match.
@Onorpik There were some mzees who came to our home, and my dad invited me to help. They insisted on that boiling nonsense. I told my dad I will never again stand by and watch such desecration. It's simply is not choma. If you don't have the patience for choma then don't do it at all.
@OvieO Been saying this...the fans have been the news of this world cup..starting with the Scotland fans in Boston...yes, they've shown that the world can come together...but the African teams and fans are wholly left out because of visa restrictions.
