▪️What is ZKQR?
ZKQR is a privacy-first, QR-based NFT identity and payment project built around the Zcash ecosystem.
The collection consists of 4,444 unique ZKQR NFTs. But the NFT is not designed to be just a PFP or collectible.
Each NFT represents a unique ZKQR identity with its own QR interface. The idea is simple: instead of dealing with complicated wallet addresses, networks and payment flows every time, your ZKQR becomes a persistent identity that people can simply scan and interact with.

▪️How does ZKQR work?
Think of it like this:
SCAN → ZKQR ID → PAYMENT / INTERACTION → PRIVATE SETTLEMENT
Your QR is the public-facing layer. Someone can scan it from a phone, website, screen, card or even a physical product.
Behind that QR sits your ZKQR identity. The owner of the NFT controls that identity and its authorized receiving destination.
▪️That creates an important difference:
The QR can stay the same while the destination behind the identity can evolve.
So you don’t need to replace a printed QR every time something changes. Ownership of the NFT determines who controls that ZKQR identity.
▪️What does the NFT actually give you?
The NFT acts as the ownership layer for your ZKQR identity, not just an image.
It is designed around:
A persistent QR identity
A recognizable ZKQR ID tied to ownership.
◼️Private payments:
Zcash-native shielded payment capabilities can keep sensitive transaction information private instead of making everything publicly visible by default.
◼️Physical + digital use:
The same QR identity can live online or be printed and used in the real world.
◼️Transferable ownership:
When ownership of the NFT changes, control of the associated ZKQR identity can move with it rather than requiring the public QR itself to change.
◼️Cross-chain direction
Our larger vision is simple: One Identity. Any Chain. Private. The QR becomes the interface while the underlying infrastructure handles supported routes and destinations.
ZKQR is not trying to make QR codes complicated.
We’re trying to make the complexity behind the QR disappear for the user, while keeping privacy at the core.
4,444 ZKQRs. Built around Zcash.
Scan. Identify. Pay. Stay private.
And this is only the first layer of what we’re building◼️
Supply: 3,881 NFTs.
The project is focused on privacy, using Zcash’s shielded-transaction ecosystem as part of its concept.
The collection is currently in an early/pre-launch stage, with whitelist applications being promoted publicly.
