We don’t do division. We fix potholes, repair church roofs and clean rivers.
We focus on the local issues that matter to you and we get things done.
Vote Lib Dem on Thursday for a local champion who'll work tirelessly for you.
🗳️Where it matters, at the ballot box, we are the party taking on Reform UK and winning across the country.
This 7 May, we're set to make our record eighth set of consecutive local election gains. ↗️
It’s good news that Elmbridge residents won’t be expected to shoulder the debt of the failing Tory-run councils elsewhere in Surrey. My constituents in Elmbridge have long enjoyed responsible financial management from Elmbridge Council. The new unitary authority must ensure this continues, and guarantee that my constituents receive the services they need.
It’s also right that elections will finally take place in May, after Tory-led Surrey and our Labour Government conspired to cancel them last year. It’s high time that residents get the chance to vote out failed Surrey leadership and replace them with those who will deliver for our transport systems, our adult social care, and our schools.
@PDRNHPUK What’s your source for this please? A simple Google search reveals it’s more like 15%
As any fool know British people aren’t on welfare, they receive benefits.
See especially point 2 of the image - is that why you feel threatened?

Report, report, report, that was the key message from my walk around Hersham with the Borough Commander for Elmbridge and the Designated Neighbourhood Officer for Hersham.
We talked about local policing priorities, community safety and the issues that matter most to residents, from antisocial behaviour and theft to visibility on our streets and building strong relationships between officers and the people they serve.
The clear message from our police team was that every report counts. Whether it’s an instance of antisocial behaviour, suspicious activity, or something that just doesn’t feel right, please report it.
Every single report helps build a clearer picture of what’s happening locally, allowing the police to target resources where they’re most needed and respond effectively. You can report directly through the Surrey Police website.
I’m really grateful to our local officers for taking the time to share their insights and for the work they do every day to keep Hersham and our wider Esher and Walton community safe.

Congratulations to @LibDems Andy Burton who wins the Surrey seat Hinchley Wood, Claygate and Oxshott from the Conservatives - meaning that the Conservatives lose control of Surrey County Council.
Despite election visits from Kemi Badenoch et al Elmbridge have said no to the Conservatives again. 🔶
This sums it up. The Russian administration rubbing their hands in surprised glee at Trump’s backing of Putin.
A whole new world order in less than a month.
The UK must stand by its values - and stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦 🇬🇧
It is a disgrace that Conservative led Surrey County Council has cancelled the May elections. This is an outrageous denial of local democracy from a council that has failed its residents. I have issued a joint statement with the Surrey Liberal Democrat MPs @AlPinkerton@_Chris_Coghlan @helenemaguire @WillForster@ZoeFranklinLD alongside Leader of the Opposition @PaulDFollows which you can read below
