Goodness this 3-high inverted Tampa look from Ole Miss against Tulane in the CFP is beautiful.

Traditionally, the QB is likely expecting corners to play the flats while the free safety and boundary safety play deep 1/2 and the middle safety acts as the middle hole player.

They end up sending the nickel and backer here while dropping the “hole” player and boundary safety into the Hook/Curl.

Field corner does a great job not retreating and working laterally to drive on the slant, understanding the ball is likely coming out quick.

Beat the QB on the field with pre snap disguise.
