Let me break down what is happening and what is likely to happen from 2026 and beyond.
From the start, the dynasty project was moving smoothly and according to plan.
Risky and outspoken army generals were neutralized.
Credible and independent politicians were largely cleared out.
Influential religious voices were silenced or tamed.
All that remained was to roll out the red carpet for the palace prince.
Then came 2017—and a musician entered politics.
The father quickly sensed danger. As Bobi Wine himself later said, Arua was meant to be the end of him. The plan was simple: deal with the problem and manage the consequences.
2021 and its aftermath were dismissed as a wave of excitement—Ugandans enjoying a celebrity they once paid to watch, now appearing “for free.” The regime convinced itself it was a temporary craze, not a political force.
2021–2026, the strategy shifted: infiltrate, plant moles, weaken, and break the party from within. But God had other plans.
Now we enter the campaign period.
The expectation was limited popularity—Buganda at best, maybe pockets of Eastern Uganda like Jinja. What unfolded instead shocked them.
They encountered a “King David” phenomenon:
a leader whose appeal crossed regions, tribes, and class;
border to border popularity;
and, crucially, a politician who had matured, not just survived.
What happened during—and after—January 15th is the regime scrambling to manage unforeseen realities. The commitment to dynastic succession remains, but the truth is now obvious: the dynasty is in decline.
The next move is predictable. They will attempt to weaken or completely finish off National Unity Platform, using every tool available to them.
Personally, I believe God is in control.
Night may fall, but dawn always comes—at the appointed time.
As we strive for national liberation, let's recognize that holding onto relationships or mindsets that hinder progress can block our path to success. You can't hold a key to success if you're still holding a key to failure. It's time to accept that some people may not be ready to join the journey, and that's okay. Let go of those who are weighing you down, and focus on empowering those who share your vision for a brighter future. Let go of the fear of loss, and embrace the freedom to move forward. By releasing what no longer serves us, we create space for new opportunities and alliances that will propel us towards our goals. Let's choose to unlock our potential and move forward, even if it means walking alone at first. The road to national liberation requires courage, resilience, and a willingness to let go. Let's unlock our future, together! 🌟 #PeoplePowerOurPower #NationalLiberation #SuccessMindset
Ugandan Presidential candidate @HEBobiwine and his political party @NUP_Ug represent an idea that will no doubt outlast the current Ugandan leadership.
No amount of violence, even killings, can stem the tide. In fact, the show of violence is not a representation of strength but rather a tacit admission of weakness and inability to win the election if the field were leveled.
To those being used as instruments of coercion, the enablers of such unlawful conduct, the time of reckoning will come. State protection is transient.
It is not too late to follow the law, act with restraint, and avoid bloodshed. An election can not be prosecuted as though it were a war or an end in itself. The country will live long after us all. Let’s make a better country for our posterity.
To my brother @SirDanMagic1, you overcame an attack during the previous election cycle; you will overcome this, too. Your blood, like that of countless others, will not be spilled in vain.
Just watched God’s design in motion…
A colony of Carebara diversa.. ants, small yet strategic, took down a spider ten times their size.
Their secret weapon wasn’t chaos.. it was order.
Out from the ranks came a massive soldier ant with mandibles built for war.
Each ant moved with purpose… no ego, no confusion… only unity. Watching it made my skin crawl and my soul marvel.
Even in nature, God reveals the power of structure, purpose, and obedience.

@AtambaB8@kirya_ug The barricades were put to form a temporary roundabout as the flyover is still incomplete(stalled). Removing them means people crossing to Busabala will be cut off or they will have to cross dangerously.
Ladies, when he asks you "Are you still coming or not?" it means he has substitutes lined up and he doesnt care whether you answer Yes or No bse he is 'eating' either way.
We appreciate the @MoWT_Uganda@UNRA_UG for providing equipment to remove the debris and waste that came as a result of the floating island that docked at Nalubaale Power Station dam. This exercise is currently on going.
