I think people miss what Andrew’s Peter was actually experiencing in that moment…

He comes through Ned’s portal still wearing his mask, immediately realizes he’s been pulled into a completely different universe, and he’s fascinated by the fact that the multiverse is actually real. Then he realizes MJ and Ned aren’t looking for him at all, they’re expecting THEIR Peter.

Before he can even process what’s happening, Ned’s grandmother throws a pillow at him because she thinks he’s some dangerous intruder. 💀

So when Andrew takes off his mask, I don’t think it’s because he suddenly trusts MJ and Ned with his identity. He’s trying to de-escalate the situation and show them that there’s an actual person underneath the mask who isn’t there to hurt anyone.

Honestly, the whole thing is hilarious. He gets dragged into another universe, discovers that alternate versions of himself exist, meets two complete strangers who think he’s someone else, gets attacked by an old woman with a pillow…… and his response is basically, “Okay, okay. Let me show you I’m a nice guy.” 👀

톰홀랜드 이 씬 사실 목 답답해서 갑옷 쥐고 있던 걸 맷데이먼이 멀리서 봐서 오해했다는 썰 듣고 오디세이 다시 보니까
잘 보면 갑옷 입은 사람들 죄다 목 불편해서 한번씩은 목 언저리 붙잡고 있음ㅜ
특히 오디세우스 야랄 때문에 선원들 갈수록 지치셨나요 예. 될 때 다들 목 쪽 갑옷 부여잡고 있어

I think Frank’s role was actually greatly misunderstood.

Peter is a hero who keeps trying to save everyone, while Frank is someone who has accepted that sometimes people can’t be saved. That’s why Frank constantly clashes with Peter. He isn’t there to make Peter’s job easier, he’s there to expose the difference between Peter’s idealism and Frank’s brutal reality.

And the hospital scene proves Frank could still make a difference without being the strongest person in the room. He put the Spider-Man mask on, drew the attention toward himself, and gave Peter the opening he needed.

Frank wasn’t useless. He was the warning of what Peter could become if he ever stopped believing there was another way.
