I loved Lara stepping up to Lisa 😭 Everything about her past & marine life was filled with dim lights, literal graves & scenes of unacceptance & transactionality. I loved that she first remembered Himeka moving on, as she's now ready to do the same & trust again
#さよならララ
// goodbye lara spoilers
the fact that it was MARI who reminded lara of how much grateful she is to be in the surface and meet so many humans who treated her with unconditional kindness and the fact that it was LARA who gave mari the drive to push forward 🥺
Mari says she's happy for Lara possibly finding true love in a detached manner. She's framed on the right side of the screen, highlighting their growing distance. Lara reacts with lost puppy eyes & quickly feels sick & fake smiles. GOODBYE, Lara strikes again 😭
#さよならララ
i feel like lara would be the first person mari would let touch her whether it’s hugging her or letting lara rest her head on her lap i think mari isn’t really someone who likes being touched by others but when it comes to her lara’s warmth makes her feel warm and safe
The tension got so insane that it almost killed me, but wow, what a dynamic and heartfelt scene. Lara finally realized who it was that gave her a place on the surface world and guided her through all the hardships that came with living there, and that was no one other than Mari.
I like how Lisa immediately knows that Mari is the one keeping Lara on the surface. She's not going after Luca or anyone else, Mari's the one closest to Lara so Lisa wants her to step aside and let Lara return to her family.
