@irene_raila@ignyharaz2 Gone down the rabbit hole to seek clarity on this and what I found out is that indeed the above information is true but it's limited to persons contracted for engineering services or consultancy
However engineers employed by employers/company's are protected by employement law

Many leaders seem to forget that leading others should be held in reverence more than anything else.
Being the leader means that you have been placed in a position to serve others.
Too often, I have seen leaders duck and cover, throw their people under the bus, throw their positional weight around, and instead of leading from a place of service, lead from a place of ego when things get rough.
You are privileged to be in a position where you can direct, shape, and focus people's potential toward a specific result. When you are given the responsibility to lead, you are given an awesome opportunity to influence the lives of many people positively, a responsibility you should never take for granted.

@irene_raila@ignyharaz2 Wow this information sounds like news to me juu I have never found this excact minimum wage clause.
Has it really been enforced juu I'm quite sure almost 98%GEs tuko underpaid
90% of completed Boma yangu AHP are majorly occupied by the middle connected class who converted them into BnB units.
Some individuals own over 3 units in different locations via proxy.
It's a scheme to make then richer at the expense of the poor as they sell the idea of brokies to you.
We're right to oppose the occupancy not the idea .
Ruto ashindwe
The highest paying jobs in Kenya is an MP seat
Get 1m inclusive of taxes, control/launder CDF through brokering contracts
The biggest setback to development in Kenya
Sad that politics pays than engineering/medicine
We would one day challenge this state of affairs
SHA in my opinion is heavily communistic and overtaxes payslipped Kenyans. The informal sector represents 83% of the country's workforce, totalling 19.9M workers who rely on 3.1M salaried employees leaving a 150B funding gap. My suggestion is make it a levy such as VAT so nobody escapes it.
@agness_Momanyi 1. The houses are given to taxpayers who had their payslip deductions as priority
2.repayment of loans is simple.only repay what's due and has been delivered
3.housing be voluntary
4. Uphold the constitution of Kenya 2010
SHA transition to Hospital Management Information System (HMIS)
The next phase of swindling healthcare facilities. As it is, most Kenyan public and private hospitals have had their own HMIS. Majority of them had them developed at high initial costs with no monthly fees.
SHA now demands that hospitals sign up with 6 accredited HMIS providers on subscription basis. The aim is actually for one- Savannah informatics who are the ones who were given the contract that has been rumored to cost 104B.
Hospitals have been told how their issues will be better handled if they use Savannah’s cos they have direct access.
The first issue is why not give hospitals a reporting template to adapt their HMIS to what is required. Some HMIS are more robust than what have been approved.
Savannah have different packages ranging from 5k, 12k and 48k per month. The 12k and 48k are for inpatient. The 5k is meant for outpatient but here is the catch. If you take the 5k package, you can’t see your claims being processed. So one is expected to take a more expensive package even if you ain’t inpatient so that you can track your claims.
The product is a partnership between Savannah and Safaricom. This subscription is way more expensive than most Hospitals pay for their HMIS.
As per SHA own report they had approved 3,512 outpatient faculties out of 7,244 hospitals by early October. So if the 3,512 pay 12k per month for inpatient to see their claims, the vendor will be getting 42m per month that is forced on providers.
For inpatient facilities, they are made in such a way that they must subscribe for the 48k package. 3732 of them transalate to 179m per MONTH!
This is beside the 2% deductions on claims.
It’s like on top of being given the main business, govt is creating business for an individual business forcefully
F1 - SHA reports
F2 - The packages indicates that under 5k, you can’t track claims, do reconciliations. The facility will just be blind to processes.
Tuambiwe why since 2025 my net contribution to housing has clocked 200k yet I still need to pay the initial 10% of the house amount
Si the government could match an amount equal to my monthly contribution monthly so it gives citizens housing and also those who contributed.
☝🏾🇰🇪
Is he done ranting about the 24K I pay for his housing scam because kuna hii 43k I pay every month for his SHA scam we also need to discuss. Tukimaliza hio ndio tuongee juu ya the 500k in PAYE he takes every single month and splashes on tea and mandazi pale state house all the while insulting us the taxpayers that carry the burden of his greed. In 2027 we are cutting the fat out of our budget to bring relief to all Kenyan workers. The housing levy will go with Ruto.
