crazy how you can make a fuck ton of money even though nobody knows who you are
everybody thinks you need thousands of x followers for distrubution
I'm telling you that's not true
you can make 10k this week with 0 followers
no better distribution for starting out than cold call + referrals
grok 4.5 is genuinely incredible
for everyday use it’s so annoying to wait so much for claude to finish a task
you code all day and feel like you barely got shit done cause it takes so damn long
grok 4.5 is lightning fast and produces great output
people are still confused about making money with apps
“I’ll build a peptide logging app and people will pay me for the subscription”
that’s what 11 others did this month and they already have a customer base and an MRR of 200k
the truth is nobody gives a fuck about a logging app or a calculator because they could build it themselves
everyone has claude code and fable 5 can rebuild your app top to bottom in less than an hour
people would rather build their own app with their own features suited for them
the thing that nobody wants to build is the database for interactions, half -life of drugs etc.
that’s a fucking headache and you might die if you fuck it up
most would rather pay for an api that has all the data about the drugs
and this is the reason api businesses will do so incredibly well
there’s no app that is perfectly suitable for everyone
but there’s an important part of an app where the headache is not worth 25 bucks for the dev so he would rather outsource it to supabase
today I was on the phone with a local business owner and after hearing my offer he was skeptical
he asked me “You’re so confident about that?”
he was shit testing me
all I replied was “We are so confident that if we don’t deliver I will personally send your money back”
business owners will shit test you all of the time because they wanna see if you’ll act like a man or be a bitch about it
people wonder why their offer is not selling when there’s nothing wrong with it
if you don’t believe in your offer people will smell the uncertainty and never pay you a dime
bros are happy when they make their first 800 bucks selling to local business owners
which is fine
however the biggest bottleneck is not booking your first customer but scaling to 10k per month
not because people are not willing to pay you
but because people are slow and therefore scaling is slow
you spend months and wonder why the nunbers ain’t adding up
you was supposed to be making 5k at this point but somehow the deal one week ago dosen’t show in your bank
it’s still pending cause the guy is still busy “evaluating the contract” and “getting back to you”
and then you realize why they’re still broke
they could keep up with your pace but they’re busy doing other shit
be picky about who you do business with
13 months ago, I threw my IQOS in a lake.
At this point I’ve been smoking for about 4-5 years.
I was training by the lake and decided to quit smoking and all forms of nicotine, taking action immediately (before I could think about it, so my brain wouldn’t talk me out of it)
I had a pack of red marlboros and some Terea with me, which I threw in the trash
I didn’t relapse for approximately 7 months
then I went to Tenerife, got drunk and relapsed (smoked 3 cigs as far as I can remember)
then I didn’t have any nicotine for about 3 months.
then I went to Austria and relapsed for the second time (this time I actually bought a pack of red marlboros)
after my 3rd pack of marlboros, I gave my last (almost) full pack of cigarettes to a beggar (who was dressed up as a clown)
then I switched to nicorette gum and started tapering off
now I only use nicotine or smoke occasionally
even if you can reduce the harm, that’s a win
if you want to quit completely, do so
@biohacker i think the greatest mistake people make with nicotine is only thinking in absolutes
"i either quit cold turkey or use it every day"
but it's best when deployed occasionally/low dose
max benefit, no tolerance, minimal side effects
